Where do you think share price is going?

I wouldn't expect the MRE to be rushed simply due to recent volatility and I believe the Board of Directors have stronger stomachs than that. After this week's "hoo ha", expect a sharp bounce pretty quickly, as the stock is plainly oversold by a considerable margin. In time, there will then be further appreciation; the next couple of years will be incredibly rewarding and those who have exited now will be kicking themselves.

Please continue selling for a bit more. I'm buying as many as I can, but think I might run short of funds, or be required to report, at this rate.

If you were offered tens of thousands of pounds difference for your house every day of the week, would you worry or just think there was a nutter on the loose? Stop being so silly.

I may have missed this with all the recent babble clogging up the board, but does anyone have any idea if the mre has been delayed (apparently) simply because the company is perhaps looking to issue a measured mre (rather than an inferred or indicated) one? Also, if that is the case, does it follow that a mineral reserve statement might follow relatively quickly thereafter?

Well we did say to watch out for the volatility! Excellent opportunity for adding stock and a good lesson in why private investors should generally avoid stop losses (as they nearly always set them at too small a margin).

Cev, yes ideally I would hold for as long as the fundamentals told me it was reasonable to do that. The reality for most folk though is that at some point you can reach the stage where the sum accumulated is life changing if alternatively deployed. Also, I may or may not be in a position to reassess constantly as I grow older; my faculties could diminish for example. It will become simpler for me and, more importantly my beneficiaries, to be invested more broadly and in more mundane stocks. I am a big fan of Warren Buffet's view that there's nothing wrong with having all your eggs in one basket, as long as you watch that basket carefully, but I don't want to spend inordinate amounts of time on my investments going forwards if I don't need to.

I'm guessing (bit of a no brainer really) that as the stock prices continues to escalate folks will start feeling that inevitable pressure to take profits. That's an entirely natural thing, plus of course dome will have other uses for the large sums they have generated. I'd love to hang on in until £10 is hit, but I'll almost certainly crumble before then, probably around 225-250 will see me exit, at least for most of my holding. However, along the way we will inevitably see heightened volatility in the stock price and I'd caution folks not to jump too soon because the increased volatility gets them windy; if that happens you're bound to regret it.

Although there's nothing fundamentally wrong with this research note, that was clearly written in advance of today's RNS, do bear in mind exactly who has commissioned and paid for the paper. Interesting to see the 90p target.

Good solid set of results. Nothing spectacular, some of the familiar reasons/excuses, but reflects a period of consolidation, cost reduction and refocusing. Every reason to now be optimistic looking forwards. Watch out for directors purchases being reported. Expect this to be back around 100p if full year results meet expectations.

Well, we've become accustomed to continuously poor results and various excuses, so it would make a pleasant change to see something more positive next week. I exited as a shareholder some time ago, but have dipped in and out via spread bets. Looking at this now, I'm considering that there's a good opportunity for a tidy profit over the coming months. I'm not prepared to commit to buying stock, but I'm happy to increase my leveraged spread bet position in anticipation of a pop in the stock price, as I believe the downside potential is limited.

SimplyWallStreet has CABP as approx 42% undervalued and reckons fair value is 81p. If results next week show a 20% earnings rise, it would be reasonable to expect that to immediately translate to a 56p price at current p/e. However, if that 20% earnings rise materialises and also prompts a re-evaluation of p/e, I reckon we could see 58p at the low end and maybe up to 86p at the top. Obviously much depends not purely on earnings but also on margins and outlook, but whichever way you look at this CABP is looking good for 60p even on a very conservative measure. I think the tide is finally turning on this one and we can expect to see some impressive gains over the coming 12 to 18 months.

Very interesting position here now, with a likely large jump on the horizon. I've decided to sell some of my holding, but that's purely to give me some funds to take on a spread bet for a greater leveposition

Maybe not exactly a major achievement? Expect something quite surprising in the upcoming results (that are never ever leaked, according to investor relations people.)

Yet again we see a short term small retreat in price as folks get jittery at the slightest thing, without even knowing why they've been spooked. Yet again it seems necessary to remind people that market volatility is absolutely normal and that share prices do not follow straight line trajectories. I believe there is an incredible opportunity here, having started buying at a much lower level but still happily adding now.

Oh dear Ageos & Manlord, all this history stuff from millions of years ago is all well and good, but will the share price hit 49.45p by 11:30 next Thursday, as I need my rent money back by then? I'm asking in advance to hopefully forestall enquiries from the usual suspects.

I'm happy to carry on accumulating stock, without too much regard to short term price fluctuations at these levels, because the upside potential is so massive. I started at 6p-ish and have added at close to 30p, but will still be adding above that level. You seldom come across finds like this, it's quite different from many "opportunities".
