Excellent link PT, I know have another mass of reading to do regarding those desk jockeys complaints. So far its looking good. Some of the comments so far have been that wild birds holidaying in the area do not book into certain plots as its currently frequented by doggy walkers. Also some other areas have the problem of predators from surrounding plots. I do like some of the names used. Especially Hazel Honeyset. Isn't she out of the James Bond films. The Archaeology guy also had no problems with giving permission.

Ghengis, On the 30th December 2020 the price per share traded at a high of 11.4p. The year before it was only trading at .05p. Even the BOD remarked that there seemed to be no reason for the massive increase in price. So I suspect that some MM cast a price and looks to see what it catches. Personally I was thrilled as I held 1/2 mil shares at .0037p

Yes Paddy, But Board shuffling with a plus point. It allows the CEO access to other projects that Engsolve under take. Projects that may have confidential agreements in place and as PHE are just another shareholder without control it has no rights to access for those agreements. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.

You just beat me to the post PT. Yes its all aligned to make the DMG plant pay for its investment.
However I do share some of the sentiments regarding the lack of PHE news. Even if they only said Peel have ordered some nuts and bolts that are on a 6 month lead time. What everyone has to understand is. Peel are a multi billon private company and are effectively PHEs only UK customer. They hold no allegiance to PHE investors to keep us informed. Just follow what is happening to the park as a whole site and be assured that whilst slow it is progressing. A number of plots are in production and some more in construction. Bridges are being built to link canal road to rest of park. And the road to nowhere that a pervious poster took the picture off is our road to our plant.

I agree Leo. Except I would look towards August to be on the safe side as its tied up with the loan extension. I expect that having the Plots 10A, 11,12 passing the planning process would also be a good sign of progress towards construction of the DMG plant. Particularly as they I suspect are to be linked to the electrical cable system that will join DMG plant to the new substation. The cabling trench runs along side of all those plots.

Plot 10a is a Materials Recycling Facility which will separate out dry mixed recyclable materials such as glass, paper, cans and card into different waste streams and send them for recycling.
Plot 11 is a Plastic Recycling Facility with plastics from Plot 10a and mixed plastics arriving pre-sorted to the site will be separated into different types. The separated plastics will go to either Plot 12 to be washed and flaked to make new plastic products. Or plot 13 for PET recycling.
Neither has shown any company in mind at the moment for Plots 10A, 11, or 12. Which seems to me to mean that until Peel has the agree planning consent it would be a waste of time and money hawking those plots on the open market.
Plot 13 has already received consented planning and Enviroo are in the frame for that plot.
Peel after all make their money from owning and renting out plots including land and building management. They also own the Manchester ship canal which I presume they can charge a toll fee for recycling barges bringing feedstock to Protos.

Hi Doc, thanks for the audio link. I don't know about anyone else but I would consider that the Trifol system would also be complementary to be one of the plots at Protos. Perhaps in the Phase two extension with another complementary PHE plant next to it. What is so far interesting is that we now have 12 plants intended for construction within the next 12 to 24 months.

The Trifol process can only convert 3 out of the 7 types of plastic and will leave the rest for the DMG plant to convert to energy. So in effect creating a plastic conversion farm much like the Peel project that uses different process on the Protos site.

Yes Joe. That's a good hedge. I personally hold only PHE and QTEC shares as most of my other retirement holdings cover both multiples of FT 100 shares and emerging markets. All of which are showing paper losses in their thousands. However as long as they still return some form of dividend I still hold the current values in pounds that they started out at. Its only the growth that is currently missing. Still my wife and children will no doubt benefit when I have succumbed to a new form of DMG Hydrogen production from my carbon based body in the future. After all, current incineration is a major form of CO2 production and I could think of nothing more useful than my grandchildren being driven in their dads Hydrogen or electric car curtesy of grandad. Far better in my view than being in an urn on the mantelpiece.

Hold this comment as my version of how the DMG plant works. Its a secrete. It gives PHE the advantage to create the process and hold its IP rights that will make it the most profitable for the future. I always go back to the time that as a multi disciplined electrical engineer I asked a university student drinking friend to explain quantum physics to me. Put it this way I found my first beginners width certificate easier to understand and obtain. On a separate note. I met that friend later and asking him how his exam went. He replied that he had passed with honours or something like that. So I asked what fabulous job, was he doing now? It must be very well paid. No he replied. I am now a professor of quantum Physics at my old university as I couldn't find a job that suited my qualifications. That says it all.

Today, the amount of land that blue hydrogen needs for 900 megawatts is 12 acres of land. For an equivalent PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) electrolysis and solar energy-based project, it needs 6,100 acres of land.

Nuthazard. Good to see you and I are on the same page with this one. There is a couple of points that vertical farming has over the Spanish sea of plastic. Produce is grown upwards and not outwards. So vast areas of land are not taken up. They also have a problem with water in Spain. Once it goes into the soil its lost. Whereas water in Hydroponics is constantly recycled. The lights that are used are of the correct colour spectrum to promote 24-hour growth. The video guy mentioned that the plastic absorbs the CO2. I don’t think he meant to say that but it is possible that conversion from oil to plastic does in effect capture the CO2 for the length of time that the plastic still is in use. Personally, my next fencing will be composite plastic and not tree wood. So will anything else that I build such as the replacement decking. That keeps the oil and plastic industry generating incomes for their workers. There is currently a vertical tomato plant in Suffolk where even the pollinating bees get put into an adjacent bee care home next door when the hive gets a bit old.
On a different note I did send M K at protos an email asking for further info on his 5 million lorry statement. As usual my email has been ignored so far.

I wonder if anyone will put a food production plant into the mix. Vertical hydroponic farming uses at least three of the elements that Protos will generate. Sunlight either natural or produced using colour correction from electric. CO2 from the capture process and water either from recycled rain water or as the by-product of Hydrogen to energy generation. Add the chlorophyll normally found in plants. And you have a lettuce or tomato factory etc. Put it in a glass house and you have 24/7 food production all year round not subject to the weather.

Depending on the waste feedstock put through the DMG process, a typical plant will process approximately 40 tonnes of waste plastic per day and produce up to 2 tonnes (2000kgs) of hydrogen in the same period.
So no change noted there.
My 25KG per bus per day came from a google search.
Your 37Kg average means even less busses feeding per day off a single DMG plant. 2000KG divided by 37KG is 54 buses and then the plant runs out of gas.
And yes I do understand that it said 70 sites but the Protos model was for only one plant so far.
I do thank everyone for trying so I have tried to reverse engineer the maths starting with 5 million buses and working back.
5,000000 buses at 25 kg per bus per day = 125,000000 kg total gas required per day.
This divided by 2000kg per DMG plant production requires 62,500 plants.
Divide 62500 plants by 70 sites means 893 DMG plants per site.
Good god we will all be billionaires at that rate.

I’m not here to put a spanner in the works but I’m not so convinced that Myles, estimation for the 70 DMG plants could feed 5 million buses.
Perhaps some of you mathematically endowed investors could confirm or contest my calculations.
DMG plant produces 2 metric tons of Hydrogen a day. A fuel cell bus runs on 20 to 30 Kg of hydrogen a day. Let’s say it’s the average at 25Kg a day. 2 metric tons (2000Kg) divided by 25Kg equals 80 buses. 80 buses fuelled by 70 DMG plants equals 5600 buses a day. So presumably they don’t lay up buses and buy new ones each day the max buses each year remains at 5600. Now does he mean 5 million bus journeys a year. 5600 buses times 365 days bearing in mind they do not run every day of the year means 5600 x 365 equals 2.044 million bus journeys a year.
Please tell me I’m missing something here.
