RE: 1 COMMISSIONED plant that's all it will TAKE15 Jun 2022 17:37
Conkers, PHE chose to follow the licensing route as
(1) They couldn’t get the finance to build the plant.
(2) They chose Waste 2 Tricity to build the plant then took them over and aligned with Peel to provide the site, planning and construction expertise. It was also stated during the takeover that financiers would not provide funds to PHE and preferred Peel. So, Peel became the customers and main contractors
(3) Non execs are a valuable source of contacts and cheaper than directly employed Directors. They also took no pay in the earlier stages and I assume preferred to take shares in exchange. That strikes me as good business sense from a company that only has a non-commercial proven concept to sell. The small unit at the university is not a full-scale plant. That’s the next hurdle to overcome. Despite what anyone else says it is the FOAK plant. Although it looks like something out of the scrap heap challenge program.
(4) Protos is not the DMG plant it’s a plastic park. And was granted outline planning in 2009 and was varied under a 2015 Section 73 Application. It has continued under that permission ever since. So far Peels, cable, bridge and road fairies have been hard at work building the surrounding infrastructure. How else has the tarmac roadway to plot 10B come about.
You say you’re here because you want to see the company work and help deal with plastic pollution, and my reply smacks of arrogance. Well so do I want the company to work. Except I and many others have stayed with the company and you sold up. Personally, the term arrogance fits you down to a tee. As you state you know more than, other people when in fact you fail in all quarters.
Please feel free to make comments when you understand all the facts and at least have some skin in the game.
