Financial Performance
Increased revenues in the year to £701k (2020: £100k) primarily due to engineering support works provided to the Protos SPV.
£9.6m of available cash at 31 December 2021 (2020: £3.4m).
Successfully raised £10m pre-expenses from the market during the year.
Provided a loan facility to the Protos SPV of £3.8m of which £1.15m had been advanced prior to the year end.
This loan is detailed below
On 12 May 2021, the Company agreed to provide a loan facility for up to £3.8m to Protos Plastics to Hydrogen No 1 Limited, the Peel NRE special purpose vehicle and owner of the development of the Protos plant. The loan is provided to support the plant construction and secure long lead time items and project design services. The loan facility was made available for an initial 6-month period, accruing interest daily at the Bank of England base rate plus 2%. The availability period for the facility has subsequently been extended to 31 August 2022. Its accrued over £15,286 up to the end of 2021.
Bear in mind this loan has gone up with the increase in the bank rate.
Now with regard to kicking in. That will happen as soon as a contractor is selected using the plant drawings and plant specification that PHE has been working on all during the last two years of COVID lock-downs. You cannot tender for a project without those plans and specifications. Trust me on that.
So its been kicking along in the background all the time.
Its frustrating I know. I have paper losses of over 50 K on all of my investments but I still hold onto those shares as I know that they will come through in the end.

gvs368, We have a FOAK. its in the nearby science park. The Peel project will I expect be up and running with a commercial running plant at Protos or in Glasgow followed soon after by HUI in Poland, and Ireland. All Within the next year.
If you listened to the man on the video. They hope to have a demo plant running in a year. The founder of the company has been at it for 30 years yet still no demo plant. They talk of 60,000 plants to produce a million tons of carbon. How long would that take. And PHE is not able to finance the 26 million to complete the first COMMERCIAL plant. So they need partners such as Peel and HUI. I would bet my money on Alex and Howard to beat this other company into 2nd place.
What is good. They also confirm that waste will become a commodity. And as such council rate payers will be able to be able to cover our waste collections at a profit. Although it means the loss of expected gate fees that Howard keeps banging on about.

Goldbar, I agree with your sentiments.
Unfortunately as a member of the Tory party and now a custodian of another vote for another leader. The party and in fact all party's are only currently going on about the next election and always concentrate on the NHS, Law and Order, and local services. And are more interested in ****ging each other off. Saving the planet is really the last thing on their minds to spend tax pounds on. Its not a vote winner.
I have aligned myself with the Liz team who keep asking me for any priorities that I want to see considered. So please all you fellow shareholders give me some short or even long sound bites as to why we need the DMG plant as part of the future energy mix. I will put your nicknames or monikers against each selected or collective posts to show its just not one voice making all the noise.

Im sorry to have to disagree PT for the following reasons.
First the SPV is a subsidiary company of Peel created to separate out individual management and financial costs of Plot 10B.
Myles Kitcher As Managing Director of Peel L&P Environmental, a developer of real estate and infrastructure in the energy, waste and mineral sectors, he is the leading force behind Protos – Peel’s flagship destination for energy, innovation and industry near Ellesmere Port, north west England. He is also Executive Director of Natural Resources & Energy, Peel L&P and he works with investors, technology providers and private and public sector partners to deliver innovation and investible project opportunities. In other words, he has overall control of both plot 10B and the entire Protos site.
All individual construction projects are generally given to a building contractor. They will oversee from the ground works up to finishing the project. However, they do not carry out all parts of the project. In this case Sisk will carry out the service infrastructure, plus possibly the laying of the concrete pad to take the DMG plant which will be assembled by another company. That company will be possibly aligned to the manufacturing company that produces the plant its self in a factory environment. Sisk will probably construct the electrical switch room for Plot 10B and probably all the other plots as well. To cut this short all contractors are just ingredients of the same cake put together and overseen by the same chef ,Myles Kitcher. Also note he is a Non Exec on the PHE BOD and therefore can be questioned by us as owner shareholders

Look guys.
Work has already started on all the plots plus a contractor has already been at the site working. Sisk is the name and ground works services are their game. All that video of service pipes that Ledzep posted via YouTube have not been installed for nothing. They are the services for each plot. Therefore, the entire plastic recycling section of the park is now underway. I expect the reply but that’s not working on Plot 10B, true but remember the approval stops construction until after the bird nesting season is over on the 31st August. I also expect that there are cycling Twitchers or swampy type characters going passed those plots just waiting for peels contractors to breach that restriction in the approval. You have already mentioned about the protesters in Glasgow. Protos has its own set of cycling protesters against the park. Please be a little more patient until the 31st August when there has to be another update. Then we can go into battle for more information as is our right as owners.

PS Likewise as Julfr has said. Only my 55 years of construction has shown no barrier to commencement. Although very low temperatures stopped the installation of my PVC cables until it warmed up a bit. Even concrete can be laid as it creates its own heat during the curing process.

Your reasoning is spot on PT. What still has to be developed and constructed is the gasification chamber with it turbine like blades for a commercial sized product. There could be all manner of restrictions or production problems that need to be worked through and then tested. Such as expansion and contraction of components at such high levels of heat over long lengths of metal inside the chamber and including the chamber itself.

In simple terms Main,
Both PHE and HUI need companies with heavy engineering expertise to produce parts of the plant. Don't quote on this but PHE's original producer of the prototype plant may well not be able to scale up to such a larger commercial plant. The original information I read some where was that they could manufacture a plant in 4 months and only create 3 a year.
So it is highly likely that there will be some collaboration between PHE and HUI using some of the same components. Much like when you buy a Skoda and find it has some Volkswagen parts all made in China. In fact I thought that China was mentioned for components in the podcast.

Your post said. Certainly worth a listen. Interesting to hear Howard criticism of PHE slow progress and virtually promising that it would speed up. Good luck there Howard!.
So, I took a look see at what was said.
Lots of name dropping of multinationals Linde, General Electric, Shell and another company that produces jet engine turbine blades. All looking to be producing and maintaining components for the 100s and possibly 1000s of plants that will be in use after the two years are up and the first commercial plant is up and running for HUI.
I do actually admire Alex’s and Howard's effused rhetoric about how much money its all going to make. Which considering the White family’s worth in PHE shares at 10 p was around 99 million GBP for a possible 5 or 6 million GBP original investment. I expect he is kicking himself for not carrying out a bit of top slicing on that day of 30th December 2020.
So to recap on the DMG process. It still hangs on the First Commercial Full-sized plant being put into service and that still appears to be Peels Protos plant. And as I don’t intend for my executors having to put my shareholding clause in my will into effect just yet I’m comfortable with an expected Protos plant fully up and running early or midterm 2023.
On a lighter note, and as I always try and look on the brighter sides of life. The AIM markets ticker ID for Power House Energy is PHE. Thank your self lucky that you didn’t invest in Del boys Trotter Independent Trading. I will leave it to others to work out on that.

Well John S, I thank you for your polite reply to my post. And your appearance as not only a chartist but a trick cyclist now to boot. But to put your mind at rest. I did top slice under advice I was given at around the 10 p mark for 100,000 shares. That was courtesy of a post reply from Bob Smith. But I also looked at the company and its alignment with peel and other companies. And decided that for the first and only possible time in my life. I can commit to a charitable cause dear to my personal family situation. I have a brain damaged daughter who's only possible cure could be in the advancement of stem cell research to regrow the parts of her brain that are non-functioning. Those PHE shares that I now hold including the ones that I have gone on to purchase are now subject of a clause in my will. That is to be used for the further advancement of stem cell research. Research that unfortunately will not be advanced enough for my own daughters use. But if it prevents another young family from enduring the same life time situation. Then I will go to my maker with a clear conscience. I will have done everything I can to provide something worthwhile in my lifetime. Not everyone invests in shares for personal gain.

I have never been an investor in the Aim market even after 40 plus years of holding shares in UK blue chip companies mainly on the Footsie 100 market. It was an unexpected dividend payment that I did not expect to receive in my Sipp. That led me to look around for a company that could solve two problems. Plastic pollution and global warming. There was nothing I could see on the main market so I looked around the Aim market and came up with PHE. It fitted both of my requirement and was cheap at one third of a penny to boot. So, I acquired half a million shares. I also considered those shares as a total gamble. The best analogy is a perpetual horse race. I bet on PHE and every day Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4.30 pm my horse runs around the track much like the Grand National race over fences. The share price rises and fall in varying degrees with each fence. The highest rise is at Becher’s Brook. My only worry is, if my horse falls and breaks it leg and I lose the original stake. PHE has been running for well over 20 years since its first inception and when it finally wins our stud fees will make us all wealthy and pleased to have done our bit to save the planet.
Well, that’s my dream for this week.

It should also be noted that Peel who everyone keeps knocking is PHE's customer for the plant at Protos. Just bare in mind that they are only going to use the plant as a parasitic energy source for the transport of waste materials and electricity to supply other plots on the park.
They are not just stuck with our DMG plant to cover those requirements as the following link demonstrates.

They can also use energy from plots 8 and 9A if needed.

I'm of the opinion that the 10 p was a market maker either putting the decimal point in the wrong place when it should have been a 1 p rise. Or alternatively a market maker wanted lots of trades to happen to pay off his Christmas bills. Not one of the research documents that I have seen puts the price at more than 6 p with just a first off plant. However I do hope that all those researchers have got it wrong.

That's a good question Rip.

Perhaps Leo, because 4 million only represents .001% of those in issue.
Alternatively to be a sell they will require a purchase to balance the market makers books.
And for the other question why is the share price trading in such a narrow sphere.
Perhaps its because everyone is waiting to see what happens with the August 31st deadline
Or alternatively the market makers expect a major buying and selling opportunity come the end of August and are holding onto those 4 million stocks in anticipation.
In other words your guess is as good as mine.

Looking at your last link the trifol process does in fact cover plastics that the Plot 13 plastic plant doesn't recycle. So would be a good fit. Type 1 plastics
The Trifol process will target all plastic products within categories numbers 2,4 and 5.
In summary, Trifol can convert the following End-of-Life Plastics into commercial waxes, ingredients for the production of synthetic lubricants, and liquid fuels as a by-product:

No.2 High-density polyethylene (HDPE) e.g. freezer and shopping bags, food and drink storage, pipes, insulation
No.4 Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) e.g. agricultural/mulch film, trays, containers, bubble wrap, ‘6 ring’ drink holders
No.5 Polypropylene (PP) e.g. microwave plastic, candy, snack and food wraps, shrink wrap, straws, sterile wrap used in medical applications.

I should think that the Trifol process would be complementary to the Protos model of plastic parks for their expansion areas. It could mean the need for a 2nd DMG plant as well on the parks.

Perhaps this section from the same June 2022 statement helps.
The Powerhouse engineering team has done its very best in supporting the Protos project, which has now obtained robust, contractible offers for the construction of the project from some very substantial contractors. It has been difficult reporting to shareholders on this phase of the development, particularly due to the sensitive commercial nature of the process being led by Peel NRE and its project team.
No mention of feed stock here.
The trouble is the whole report has to be read and re-read to get to some sort of whole picture.
However its the best that been provided so far.

This is straight from the last set of audited accounts, Dated 29th June 2022
The Protos final contractor selection to be made in 2022 by Peel NRE's SPV for the Protos site, will allow the formal detailed design to be completed and the control system logarithm functionality to be defined. This design detail, and the commissioning and testing program will allow the closure, or mitigation, of detail design related risks noted as outstanding against the risk management program that was assessed by DNV during the second stage of their Technology Validation process.
So we have an update on construction progress.
It just needs to be looked out for.
