That's correct PT. The hydrogen production is for 20 inter-plot waste /recycling materials HGV trucks. Plus up to 20 HGV trucks bringing waste /recycled materials into and out of Protos. Planning permission also allows for the refuelling site to import up to 50% more Hydrogen if demand exceeds inhouse supply.

Its hardly a vertical farm NH. Its more like a major housing project financed by the Chinese with vertical window box allotments. Already its attracted local complaints regarding planning permission. As I said before. In Suffolk there is a vertical farm producing tomatoes that would be a perfect example for a PHE plant to support both for energy for heating and special growth producing lighting and the small amount of CO2 residue our plants produce. A couple of these farms elsewhere have had to stop producing due to the high current cost of energy. On a separate note I await to see if your possible link between Mitch Dryers innovation centre is one and the same as PHE proposed innovation centre. Perhaps that will be confirmed at the AGM. Apart from that. This month should see a community update from Peel re Protos if the historical time line for newsletters is continued .

The only correction I would add is that apart from electrical power used to input feed stock into the combustion chamber and rotation of the TCC turbine blades in the chamber itself plus any other motors and or safety operating devices the conversion process is sustaining. I can confirm that No nuclear power station ever runs of it own power source and requires a connection to the grid to run. I see no difference here with our plant. For instance how is the steam control generated?

Masks, the desktop is used to analyse the results of the gasification plant that has created the syn-gas. The plant is about the size of a hospital diesel backup generator and fits in a medium sizes room. The small FOAK demonstrator unit has to be resized for commercial application. And that is going to be on Plot 10B of Protos.

As you have brought it up Boffin. Howard's explanation as the the two different company processes didn't make sense to me either. He said its down to one producing Hydrogen and electricity and the other Hydrogen and syn gas. The other question is the EU funding will only be given to processes that are net zero carbon. How does that fair for the proposed Irish PHE plant. If our plant is not net zero surely the funding will be refused for that construction.
Sometimes these explanations open up another load of questions that need answering.
And to answer the question that nothing self sustains. Look out tonight and see the object that is this planets sustaining permanent gravity magnet. It has been moving tides for a a few billion years and will still continue for a few billion more until our sun burns itself out expands and devours the earth.

I will add to your points that when completed this park will in fact be the model to take forward to other council planning applications. Especially as all probable objections are covered. Such as noise and pollution monitoring. Wild life conservation in relation to birds’ bats voles etc. Traffic volumes and their associated CO2 production. In addition to a 10-year landscape conservation program throughout the park’s life. All can be shown as a historical working model with the offer to take other council planning officers on a road trip to Protos to see for themselves.
The term Slowly, slowly, catchy monkey comes to mind with the first park which should see the rest of the other 9 or 10 parks being up and running very much quicker.

Phyamh, I presume that at least you have read the full grant of permission. What was your take of the 31 individual requirements as they formed part of the total overall permission?
I refer to the sentence as follows that appears in each of the 31 sections.
No part of the development within any one phase (as defined in the approved Phasing Plan pursuant to Condition 3) approved by this permission shall etc.
It would appear to me that each section has to be fully adhered to for each and every other section to be allowed to operate. This I assume is to cover Helsby councils acceptance as long as no cherry picking takes place.
Now how does that effect the progress on site and with finding a suitable contractor or contractors to carry out the building works.

Yes Z cars that reinforces the Protos park completion time of 2 years from planning permission granted. The DMG plant is estimated from the outset as taking up to a year from order to commissioning. Front end engineering has been mostly carried out. And inter plot services are under construction as we speak. What is still needed is the other plots to be started so that it all comes together. Preferably at the same time. In my view D.A's 2025 was a bit to far ahead unless its the 2nd Jan 2025.

A planning application for further facilities at the Plastic Park was submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council in October 2021 following a period of public consultation. Alongside the Plastic to Hydrogen facility and?PET?plastic?recycling facility,?which already have planning consent,?we are proposing to develop:
- Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) – which will separate out up to 75,000 tonnes of dry mixed recyclable materials (such as glass, paper, cans and card) into different waste streams and sent for recycling.
- Plastics Recycling Facility One (PRF1) – plastic from the MRF and mixed plastics arriving pre-sorted to the site will be separated into different plastic types. The separated plastic will either go to PRF2 or the PET recycling plant. PRF1 will treat up to 200,000 tonnes of plastic.
- Plastics Recovery Facility Two (PRF2) – up to 90,000 tonnes of pre-sorted plastic from PRF1 which will be washed and processed into flaked plastic which can be used to make new plastic products, such as food packaging or drinks bottles.
- Polymer Laminate Recycling Facility?–?up to 2,500 tonnes of plastic aluminium laminates (like?crisp packets and?baby?food pouches)?will be heated, the plastic will break down into an oil for reuse in manufacturing of new products and the aluminium recovered.
- Hydrogen refuelling station – taking hydrogen from the consented plastic to hydrogen facility to supply up to 1000kg of hydrogen per day to vehicles, sufficient to fuel approximately 20 HGVs from outside Protos and a similar number of internal HGV movements that will be servicing operations within Protos.
We expect a decision on the planning application in early 2022. Following which construction will take approximately 2 years until complete.
As the DMG plant is an integral part of the circular recycling facility for the supply of Electricity, Hydrogen and heat to the rest of the plots it is obvious that its construction will run in tandem to the rest of the plots. That makes it 2024 at the earliest.
Above was stated by Peel at the outset. That makes D A's. comment closer to the actual future events than you are all wishing for.

I will hold you to that Tatty. Just as long as the Daff is made from recycled plastic. I should have added, monthly share purchase schemes would equally be a bulk purchase case. If you want an idea as to why shares are dropping. Spend all night watching the CNBC channel and listen to the worlds global business leaders and why their share prices are dropping. There is also news that up to 17000 construction companies are at risk because of inflated material cost and interest rate rises on their already substantial business debts. I feel comfortable knowing that the PHE plant is relying on Peels backing. Considering that Peel has substantial land assets. And bear in mind that as they don't make land anymore its a good asset to have in a recession.

That's a fair point Tatty for a personal share trade but not for a dividend reinvestment program. That will be carried out by the Halifax as a bulk trade.

You do realise Tatty that a lot of small shareholders use the likes of Hargreaves Lansdown and others to hold their stocks. My draw down account is with HL and contains all my stocks, funds etc inc PHE. My Halifax ISA holds my PHE, EQT, and 3 other stocks. They alone could be your main sellers when their clients buy or sell units. As come each settlement day they could group all the individual transactions into one.

Hi Doc I understand that. So let me try another Question. If a type 1 polymer take 10 mins at 1000 degrees c to cook and a type 2 polymer takes 30 mins at 1000 degrees to cook. If you put them in together how long is the new cooking time? Plus what happens when you have 3, 4 or more polymers all with different cooking times. Even worse if they breakdown under different temperature. I believe its the science behind the cooking process that PHE holds to its advantage that puts it ahead of the pack. I use the term cooking loosely here. Plus I believe that PHE will be looking to upgrade its output when a full scale plant is up and running. So it may well be able to compete with the estimated (UP TOO) 10 tons an hour.
