Low to no17 Nov 2023 08:31
Low to no volume lately in HBR. Surprised no-one that there are no buyers as there haven´t been any since at least 18 months... (HBR having been its only buyer with buybacks)... but lately no real selling as well. Prices are made by pieces of 10.000 or 30.000 shares traded ... What to make out of it: for the share to attract buyers it would take news either from the company or for UK oil/gas companies ... substantial oil and/or gas rallies would help as well, but less, as most of the trading in oil stocks is done in US oil stocks. News from the company will come 29th .. News for UK oil/gas might (or not) come 22nd ... more news will come later this winter about the malaysian drilling campaign .. btw, as someone was talking about Orcadian and its still unknown possible future business partner: there is news .... "Orcadian now announced that the NSTA had confirmed that, on the basis of the work that Orcadian and the proposed operator intend to undertake, it is prepared to agree to an extension to the second term of license P2244, subject to certain conditions. The extension would change the expiry date of the second term of P2244 from November 30, 2023, to November 30, 2025. The extension is conditional on Orcadian’s submission, before November 30, 2023, of an application for NSTA consent to the assignment of an interest in P2244 to the proposed operator, and appointment of the proposed operator as operator. If NSTA consents are granted, the assignment of the interest in P2244 to the proposed operator must be completed by March 31, 2024." So who knows what the next 2 weeks will bring ... and also how the market is going to take any news ... but as a matter of fact, with the very low volume, any news (taken positively or negatively by the market) currently can and will hugely influence the share price
