I totally agree with your sentiment!

As shared yesterday though and because of the topsy turvy 'ride' that Tui has given me in the last 10 months or so - of course much worse for LTH's of the stock - I've had to condition my brain to think of 'selling days' as simply washing out those that want to leave and of course that's fine, because what that does, in a positive way, is it builds a lower support range for the stock and much more importantly, enables new entrants based on the new SP.

So for instance - just two short weeks ago, we were flirting with the £5.20's and then of course nearing the £5 level itself - even with any 'selling pressure' for delisting etc, we're holding well at the £5.50 level - see what I mean?

So if we can continue to build in these higher support levels, then the SP WILL indeed move upwards - I sometimes come across little nuggets that also help me on down days and like the last two days - Buffet has said that time invested is your friend, ie sometimes you have to wait a little longer than you might like to, to want to cash out when YOU want to.

I know we'd all love to make money hand over fist and 'right now', but of course the world of investing doesn't work that way - so whilst we'd all love Tui to 'fly' and pardon the pun, I have no doubts that with a firm base being established that results will Q on Q actually deliver, then at some stage in the not too distant future, we will actually get there!!

Hi Dan_M,

Afraid the cost side of things is a 'million dollar Q' right now, although my guess would be that Tui would fund this - maybe wishful thinking, but as they didn't mention any fees associated with the delisting in their briefings and legal paperwork, I think we'll not be charged anything - but as I say will need that clarified by Tui directly, which will come out in the coming weeks.

Transfer on the other hand will be no problem at all - again Tui will confirm details through to us as shareholders and of course to our brokers, again in the coming weeks - so please watch out for that accordingly - but it will simply be a 'date confirmed' when our UK sterling shares will be converted in to Euro denominated shares and then all done - guessing this will likely happen in the June time and likely in the week when we delist and trade fully in Frankfurt only, ie the weekend of the 21st-24th June and as communicated yesterday

Yes, of course you can - please see link below to help - for clarity the VAST majority if not all brokers will enable trading in the German stock exchange, because they are pretty much globally set up - hope this helps

So shares in London will continue to be traded until the 21st June 2024 and be delisted at the end of that day. So from the 24th, trading will purely be in Frankfurt and of course euro denominated

Well, as loads have commented, what a 'demented day eh'!

So Tui have just posted the delisting results and 98% have approved it - THANK GOODNESS!!

Because, if you had any doubt whatsoever that delisting was the wrong result, just look at today.

The HUGE movements were down to the MM's pure and simple and they manipulating the SP in a liquidity crunch and driving the price any which way they liked to - simply appalling.

Can't wait til April for a Premier listing to start in Frankfurt and then on to joining the MDAX in to late June, which will STOP the sort of nonsense of today!

So just coming through as today's SP action is pretty much all over the place etc etc.

The reason for coming through is to say 'Ride the rocky waves', as investors we've all been here before and certainly with Tui 'unfortunately eh'!

It's ONE day and may get worse or better once the announcement of the delisting vote comes through, which should be around the 3pm time UK.

Again though, please try and take these things with a bit of a pinch of salt - unless you MUST cash in today, there's always tomorrow and the days and weeks following.

Sure, it can stress us all out, but equally on days like this, I've encouraged myself to think 'Ok all you sellers - good luck and good bye and see you on the other side, when I reach my Tui target for selling when I WANT to sell'!!

Huge thanks for sharing - interestingly, Deutsche has been on 'our side' for the last 6 months or so and indeed gave us a buy rating I think from memory, back in the Summer of 2023, which was great - an indeed remains great based on today's posting.

What would be 'even better', is for other analysts to come out really positively too and I guess and hoping that this will happen in the near term hopefully

Just a final reminder going in to tomorrow's results and hopefully a very positive day and week accordingly - think we deserve it eh!!

As shared before, the figure to watch out for tomorrow - if of course we're lucky enough to get there - is £6.30 - which is the top figure we achieved after the RI back in March 2023 and which has certainly proven an upper barrier to the SP - we've bounced off it a few times and we've never breached it, whether during intra day trading or close of play.

So a very important milestone and if we can crack it tomorrow or indeed this week, then TERP is certainly a closer milestone in the coming weeks and sitting at around the £8.40 mark from memory

Hi all,

A few queriers ref the delisting, so hopefully below will help.

As Clank shares, the brokers will indeed be in contact with all of us who hold the shares after tomorrow's vote - suggest you access the Tui site say from about 3pm tomorrow, as by then they should have updated the site with the voting of the AGM and specifically the delisting vote.

Additionally, Tui may then also release next steps in terms of clarification of dates etc and also possibly, when the date will be ref converting UK sterling held shared into German, euro denominated shares etc.

I'd suggest you won't hear anything from your broker until all of the above has been confirmed and knowing how slow some can be, it may not be until the end of the week or even early next week when your broker will confirm next steps etc - but as I say, hopefully Tui will provide much more detail tomorrow, as you have to think that they will have a full press statement 'ready to go out' to us shareholders and the press etc , pretty much immediately after the voting has been confirmed - whether that confirms delisting or not.

Hope you're all very well going in to this important week for us and of course hoping, like everyone, that the results on Tuesday and any positive commentary from the BOD's at the AGM, sets us up for both a great day and week!!

Thought you'd be interested in an article in the Mail on Sunday's finance section that is headed 'Tui's plan to quit London Market finds new backers'......

What they say is that two shareholder advisory groups, namely PIRC and ISS have both recommended to their holders of Tui stock to support the delisting vote on Tuesday.

Interesting about all the 'negativity' with regards delisting, which as many know, I'm very keen about and for good reason I believe. What will be interesting next Tuesday and Wednesday, when the delisting is confirmed, is that those ii's and mm's who recommended the delisting to the board, surely will 'top up' big time once confirmed and as such, I believe it could simply add to the momentum - of course time will tell and GLA

Many thanks for sharing, although I've shared a number of times ref GS and as such, this isn't new news.

GS have been in and out of Tui ever since the RI and for me to be honest, I don't think its good news.

Looks like they're vying with BlackRock to be our biggest shareholder outside of the Russian guy - have to say I trust BlackRock much more than GS - why, because BlackRock has major stakes in many companies and tends to hold them for many years, whereas from what I've seen of GS, they absolutely act like a MM, ie would throw us to the sharks if it feeds their ego and money and which they've done in recent days and as per the legal postings.

Just for clarity, the results of the AGM and the delisting vote will be announced during next Tuesday - that's if it fits the same as last year, when the voting results came our 'pronto' after the vote - simply log in to the website and you should see it there later in the day, against the AGM tab and hope this helps

To me, fiscal year 2025 is from October 2024 through to the end of September 2025 and therefore dividend would be announced in the December 2025 results for payment early 2026 - but that's only my reading of things.

As shared previously, Tui have 'loads of cash' right now to pay a dividend and I'd be surprised if they don't announce one for this fiscal year, which would then follow your timeline.

Anyways, isn't it good for us to be talking divi's!! Simply need the BOD to convert into reality

Don't really think that you can lay the pandemic at Tui's BOD feet eh - let's be honest, if it wasn't for the German Government stepping in, they were 'bust' and out of business, so as I say, don't agree with your 4 years of disastrous decisions etc.

Ref the delisting, totally accept your view as many will have differing views and of course we're all entitled to this - what I can say though, unless you have some thoughts back, is that the current set up is simply not working, is it? As shared below, we're in no mans land right now, so why not try something different.

Finally, it's major shareholders who have suggested the delisting and as we all know, the markets across the world are simply driven by ii's and MM's, with us minnows likely on their tail wings and as such, on this occasion, happy to go with their expertise. Those who don't, already have and will sell up and again, totally understand that too
