Maxxim, I suspect the vast majority will cash in within a nanosecond of a spike from LOI, I also believe that, other than day traders, they may look back in a week or two later and regret or at least wish they had held as my post yesterday I think an awful lot of noise to follow very quickly, JIA, JCC, Funding etc.
Once the sp reaches 2.7p ( MarCap of £50m ) then the Institutional Investors, Banks, Fund Managers will come on board, and they will not be making punts of a few hundred pounds.
Final comment, I think the mm's want as many smaller PI's out as soon as anyway so they will orchestrate proceedings in the clinical manner they are so adept at.

leslieby that would be wise to retain some because I suspect that JIA , JCC and financial backing endorsement will follow very closely, it's the LOI holding them up not the other way round so possibly conversations already taken place on those.
Genuinely believe China Coal's funding agreement will give the sp a bigger rise than LOI.
I have a gut feeling also, and no more, that Naheed Memon is looking to do other deals with the Sheikh who has money to burn and this is what she was referring to in the last RNS so I expect news on whatever they may be soon .
I could be completely wrong, either way, a news rich period on many fronts is upon us come what may.

Hi Madge, not sure they have any choice but to release end of year results within a 6 month time frame, could be wrong but Dec 31 2019 has to be released by end of June 2020. Happy to be corrected but the results are pretty sound, no major shocks but yes a bit of a distraction I agree.

Definitely looks like other deals are in the pipeline and pretty near term, not too difficult to pick up on the suggestion that Orcp have had a lot of 'interest' from other suitors.
Wouldn't put it past the realms of reality of another RNS relating to this even before the LOI, now that would confuse the mm's :¬)

It is good news in that potential operators will want to show West Newton in a positive light to the 'locals' and environmentalists. It just needs the expected / hoped for volumes of oil & gas to be proved up and that will only come about by the EWT drilling programme.

All countries are looking at increasing solar and wind power alongside their current energy set up. But make no mistake the billions already spent and pledged to be spent on the CPEC Project, be it the $7bn on the rail and road infrastructure or the Coal fired energy plants, many of which are near completion, will continue and Orcp's Thar Block V1 will be one of them.

When Heads of State and Prime Ministers from neighbouring countries get involved it usually means it will go ahead.

There is enough scope to accommodate green energy ( wind / solar ) and conventional hydrocarbon energy certainly for the next few decades.

You want to sell just a few days before the LOI ? followed shortly after by China Coal announcing funding / finance ? Surely need to hold for a matter of days after all the waiting.

Trading Lad spot on, the rewards could / should be very big once we have more meat on the bone from West Newton & Parta. We do need to prove up WN and it to offer up what we all expect / hope.

If it does come in at several hundred million barrels + bcf gas ( I include Deep Cadeby Reef Formation ) then as others have said there is a high chance of a special dividend payment, hopefully the same will apply to Parta. This due via monetisation if as S&S strategy is followed up.

As you state 'Weak buy, Strong Hold' sums it up.

It looks genuine as he is quoting a third party, the PPIB are responsible for issuing the LOI, as we all know, so my guess is it has been signed off but not released yet and someone ( PPIB Managing Director has been suggested) has let it slip (too early!!) imo.

Expect a lot of this now as news rich period is due and people either wanting to get in a fraction lower, not that anyone would sell so close to a multi-bag on each major news LOI, Financing, JCC, JIA etc etc or just use spoiling / interrupting tactics for no more reason than they just can.
Have your own agenda and stick with it, once Prime Ministers, Heads of State and Billionaire Sheiks are involved it normally goes ahead imo :¬)

Its not difficult to work out if it is a buy or sell, just look at the time of the trade and the other trades reported real time. The unknown trades were buys.
That said, technology has been around for over 40 years that would solve this, i.e push the buy button and guess what it gets recorded as a buy and the same applied to the sell button, simples but I suspect it takes away a lot from the market makers. :¬)

I agree passiton but for me there are 2 big factors in getting the sp to several pence, firstly the LOI is the initial spark but it will be followed, hopefully in quick fashion, by the Finance news. That will be even bigger than LOI imo and quite possibly a fair few PI's will sell on LOI and fair play as each person has and are entitled to their own agenda but I do honestly believe some will regret it as the finance from China Coal will create at least the minimum of another single multi-bag irrespective of where the sp is from LOI.

On twitter there is a snap shot of the mm's screen of available shares. It is just blank :¬) So a pity there is not a few more buys waiting as this would probably tick up with every decent buy.

At 08:21 and a few other decent big trades. Irrespective of waiting this RNS confirms that it is going ahead and that looks good enough for investors to come in.

As a few have said the money side of things for Orcp ( 15% rebate) is not the importance here, it is the fact that it is being processed as a further stage to fruition.
I posted a couple of days ago that Pakistan employees have only been back to work 1 week and that the LOI has probably been dormant in PPIB admin. I genuinely believe this has happened in the last week since their return and Asim Bajwa has had some influence and will now speed things up before JCC & JDIA.
