For those that remember BOIL ( Baron Oil ) a month or so back it rose 47% on the 2nd day back from suspension, next day 100%, 3rd day unbelievable 174% and got to another 74% on 4th day, all compound rises from day before.
It does happen and mm's may well have started the re-rate prior to the expected news flow, not suggesting we will get BOIL's sequence of % rises but ORCP's 12% of $3bn even if spread out over production cycle will move this exponentially and it will not retrace significantly due to MarCap underpinning the Company's NAV.

Anyone got / seeing what orders are lined up on L2? or has all gone quiet after this morning.

Apart from Day Traders not sure if there will be many selling as we approach very positive news flow on several fronts each as big as each other sp impact wise.

Good let it carry on like this on no news for a month and then when news hits it multiples from a higher sp, lovely jubbly.

So LOI in a couple of weeks (ish) and I would imagine nothing to stop the finance being agreed by China Coal /Banks very soon afterwards.
12% of a minimum $3bn project. Are people aware that will give us a MarCap in the region of of $360m, a multiple of x 30 ( thirty ) from our current sp, not a ramp but taking factual info from previous updates and rns's of valuation estimates.

Either way an awful lot of multiples from here in a not very long time.

Not only have Pakistan nd China stated that they will not let coronavirus affect the CPEC trade negotiations it would appear that China as a nation are already starting to get back to normal daily routines and have seen off the worst of it.

Thanks Jimiam, irrespective of the CPEC agreement I didn't realise the strength of the bond between Pakistan and China so looks good for ORCP and in the not so distant future.

ORCP 's share is 12% of a possible $3bn ( $360m ) and we may only have to wait a matter of weeks, not going to suggest an sp but our current MarCap is $12m .

Sounds like it will be signed off and perhaps finance agreed at same time or immediately afterwards, the last paragraph of rns talks about China Coal's financial muscle.

Anyone got the date of this meeting next month.

My point is it may offset China's economic problems somewhat due to the coronavirus effect. This may leave China with some 'funds' to push ahead with the other hydrocarbons they desperately want, Coal. and the CPEC program.

It's worth pondering over imo.

Ironically, it could well be China who gains the most from the failure of Russian / Opec talks in agreeing a reduction in production. US shale, Opec and Russia all stand to lose whether it is from oil revenue, share of the market or economically unviable to extract at such low prices ( shale ).

China is the biggest importer of oil by far and they will get as much cheap oil as they want. M

Personally would settle for an RNS on Monday as opposed to a Friday as any momentum of good news on a Friday will be stopped in its tracks by weekend break ( stock market wise ).

I think a few will sell on LOI news and I'm not just talking day traders but good luck to all investors if you get your exit price, however, I believe the catalyst for sp movement will be the news of finance because quite simply that's it, a done deal.

I also genuinely believe that finance news will be within 2 months of LOI news and if people can hold for a few weeks more then the huge difference in sp ( multi - bagging ) will be worth the not so long wait.

Once finance drops it will not be your average PI's coming in you will have Institutional Investors / Fund Managers and the like coming in with large sums of investment cash due to the project being de-risked as much as it can be, I expect a few transactions also from sheiks who are 'out in the field' / directly in the know.

Don't underestimate the effect the LOI rns will have, it's basically stating all it's all done and dusted and news of finance will bring it home. Actually think things will happen quicker than the time frame most expect.
