All the waiting is pretty hard to take but sometimes its worth taking a step back and look at the reason why you invested in the first place. If the fundamentals have changed then fair do's but I agree with Genghis that the news we need s the EWT of West Newton.
Everything is still there and we already have best case up to 280m barrels and 265 bcf, throw in a successful Cadeby Reef and we could easily pass 300m barrels.
Frustrating yes and patience isn't easy but I don't think S&S have raised £24m on a whim and success just at WN could see 5p - 8p sp.

Just need to remind ourselves that even without the Cadeby Reef Formation which is where the oil was expected to be (not on the way down to it) that we have between 140m - 265m barrels of oil and 265 bcf giving UJO's 16.65% a conservative value of £150m just for West Newton. This from Malcolm Wood aka Malcy so not some ramper.
That's assuming West Newton will be monetised, and being possibly the largest 'offshore' discovery onshore since Wytch Farm I am happy to take that risk and suspect the 0.15 sp will not be around for much longer.

Anyone smart enough to work out the extra tonnage that 450m x 150m x 600m could add at 2g/t. Think this could end up being bigger than Telfer whose average bulk grade is just 1.4 g/t, fact.

Hi chrish, there is some scepticism as to the authenticity of his correspondence as he quoted the response started with " Hi Lee"...., quite a few twitter posters amused over this and are doubting a Company would use that to an addressee. Who knows for sure.
It will happen but probably looing at mid Feb.

Thanks Paddy, I too would prefer it that way. All the talk of the sp doubling by Friday is tempting to jump in but would have to sell other investments that are due to rise also, a bit of quandary mate, would love mre to be later.

Paddy, morning mate, genuine question as to the general consensus on here of there being an mre announced by Newcrest later this week. I read a recent rns by Gervaise as stating it will be 9 - 12 months before a maiden resource estimate is known by GGP, making it Sep - Dec of this year. More than happy to be shot down mate and hopefully you will recognise my name handle as frequent valid ggp poster a while back.

Hi Helpful, your last remark regarding being surprised in next 2 weeks or so does suggest you may be referring to news relating to final flow volumes. Are you of the opinion that ADL are still on track, even if timeline on last workover behind schedule, to overcome the setbacks and complete all 4 work overs.
It is a bold statement to make with an air of confidence in the sentence construction, just a gut feeling ? or have you had feedback, don't expect any detail, just intrigued if there is any substance.

That's the point that is being made noml, it is an excellent RNS and as you say could have been a duster, the reaction is not the content within the RNS but the almost lacklustre way in which it has been worded and no comment from S&S.
Each and every well from Cali now being funded via the last one so portfolio wise fantastic business sense and what's not to like. Be nice to eventually get a known total production volume from all producing wells from Cali and its what the market needs and is waiting for from RBD's perspective.
