Good find Neverm, prospective resources of 174mmboe and with potential P10 figures of 396mmboe. That would make RBD's stake in the PEDL through Corallian (15%) between 26.1 mmboe & 59.4 mmboe.

Any figures can be massaged for or against but the bonus here, whatever the mmboe totals end up at, is that this is extra to West Newton, Parta, California etc. and would basically be a windfall.

Every little helps and those figures if proven up by a major are close to West Newtons. I will take anything that comes our way direct or indirect :¬)

The controversy relates to RBD not UJO and is regarding California, the smallest part of their portfolio, West Newton and Parta being their jewel in the crowns so to speak. As a holder in RBD (as well as UJO) it should not have much impact whatever it is, I hope.

Literally states UJO & RBD have commenced activity at West Newton B. One sentence approx. 8 seconds long. Factual statement not bullish or critical but no more detail / opinion than that, however, Malcy has always been very positive of both RBD & UJO in past podcasts.
This will come good just needs EA approval on EWT to kick start it off, throw Wressle production in July / August and we will see the half pence mark I'm sure as a new base to build on.

$1bn not million chaps as WN could hold well in excess of 300m barrels, need to EWT to prove up the Cadeby Reef Formation as well as confirm volumes in the Kirkby Abbey Formation.

Hopefully oil can get back to $40 to get us $8 - $10 if Russia, Saudi's can get over their self inflicted suicidal squabbles and cut 25m bopd not 10m.

Not being held up by Coronavirus, excellent news and a long time coming.

Funded through debt not a placing so as not to impact on shareholders / sp (or words to that effect). Solid RNS imo and LOI anytime soon.

Whatever the situation we know the LOI will be issued very very soon, that should give a rise in the sp, won't be mega but should underpin the whole deal and sp I would have thought would breech 1 - 1.5p imo, I did think to top slice but would be silly so close to LOI news but respect everyone's agendas.

Their loss as the LOI is not governed by anyone other than independent dept with no connection for or against. We know Pakistan Govt want this fast tracked so it could drop at any time, China Coal have sad as much that they are happy to stump up the finance as and when required.

The 12% the big sp move will be confiormation of finance, but both sets of news could be very close together. I think 4p is achievable with both LOI & Finance and could see it go above that in the days that follow, I think mm's know an awful lot of PI's will sell up as quickly as possible once 3p has been breached and may hold back to let the herd out and then see possibly another single multi-bag a week later.
The 12% of $3bn potential NAV ( albeit not overnight) of Thar VI could give a true MarCap for orcp close to double figures but I say again the mm's will want the herd to clear first and are smart enough to control that, they may only need a week.
Remember their will be other news updates that follow such as fertiliser progress and Coal to Gas etc which will see sp movement I'm sure.

It had always been end of year but no later so by Xmas but the last but one rns and actually stated in last 2 interviews that it could well be brought forward a bit earlier but stll H2 so yes I would anticipate Sept / Oct. Only my opinion and of course if Australia goes in to lock down could delay it but but even then not by much, I know Paterson ( with the exception of Havieron already temporarily suspended. All just imo mate.

Thanks mate, i accept updated results end of April but the big one will be the mre estimates due H2 2020 imo but yes nice if orcp can get LOI out before then, might be expecting too much for funding news as well but we can hope!

Jimiam, I did the same have sold GGP and UJO to what I see are short term better gains here at orcp if we get the news we expect, as for GGP I will get back in but we have until late summer at the earliest before they issue the mre figures, so hopefully timing is on our side.

If I bought a shed load not sure I would unload literally as LOI and Finance about to be agreed. Little bit apprehensive but tempered with the reiteration of Imran Khan stating things to continue as planned. We will wait and see.

Just my take in that surely an LOI is price sensitive information from the point of view that the sp would be expected to rise on its issue being confirmed. Therefore is it practical to forewarn shareholders / investors of an incoming rns later today which would hold that news allowing peeps to load up, could that be construed as insider dealing ( and yes only if it does contain that info).

Happy to be wrong but I don't think it will be LOI just a further update of steady as she goes, all things on track etc.

Split it in 2 buys and got 0.81 and 0.774 (I think) but happy with the average.

I have bought £12k's worth this morning and not showing up but it did go to NT, so buys and sells pretty even imo. Holding 4m now and whilst it's not a large amount if this can get to 2.5p on LOI & Funding then I will be happy with £100k especially with most stocks still in the doldrums due to the current situation.
