Yes they will want to release news as close as possible to the IP day, however they can't artificially hold sp sensitive news back by much, so maybe no more than a day or two (they can use the excuse of getting all the data together for an rns, but not for long though!). So this week or maybe early next week.

Any new price sensitive information will have to be rns’d before the presentation; 0700 that day latest!

We may well have to wait a full week for the big reveal until after the Duke's funeral, especially for any government/ministers announcements on testing or contract awards! See the flak Cameron is getting for putting his statement out......insensitive to Royal family, etc!

Just what I was thinking too, also a price of ca £10 for our test vs £120 for a PCR.........Govnmt softening up the public prior to the big roll out of super LFT's!

Could be a big dip first thing with loads doing a bed n ISA, followed by a lot of buying 2 days later into their ISA's, mixed in with whatever rns is published (good or mediocre)......means that the sp could be all over the place for a few days.......but well up by end of week!!!

Its impossible not to take all those possibilities seriously!

What’s required is full clarification of the number of current active stores by each deal/distributor, current sales, current cash flow/ profit, plus growth projections for this sp to move forward to the sunny uplands! Right now there is no financial basis for the mcap only hype n hope, we need more!

I agree its about time that Zoetic put out some more updates on actual store roll out, actual sales to date, and projections for the next 3 - 9 mths. They may not look amazing, but would at least show that they are on the first rung of the ladder. At present it is all deals and hype, more substance is needed. Also the roll out plan for US and for Europe. A quarterly update for 1Q21 would be a start.

IMHO I think the Govnmt strategy is that they do not want testing to distract from vaccinating. IF the anti vaxxers get wind that a good test might be considered as a valid alternative to a vax then they DEFO will not change their mind! Its all about maximising the max take up BEFORE the start of mass testing. Hence the lack of mention of testing just now, it will happen, but a few more weeks concentrating on tax take up.

Also I would like are dynamic duo CEO’s to show us how they are gearing up to supply this explosive demand, such as hemp production contracts, smokeables and gummie manufacturing contracts and overall supply chain management. As John Story says this is not rocket science and expertise can be hired in, however there is no visibility of any of this yet! The dynamic duo have to provide some insight to all of this, you cannot go from 0 to 100 in 10secs!, it takes real infrastructure to deliver and while maintaining quality.
The sp has done really well so far on hype n hope, but to bag or 10 from here needs real delivery and visibility, not just good words from the dynamic duo!
I got a fair amount still in here and so want success, but next 3-6 mths is key to prove this not all hype.imho

All very exciting stuff these projections! However what I want to see is real sales and real rollout figures for say 1st half 2021, if these show real traction and real highish cash flow in, THEN we are truly on the way! They don’t have to be astounding as early days yet, but they need show substance, indicating that real progress on the ground is being made. So far no sales or projections have been published, only distribution deals signed, which is great, but now we need the fanfare of rollout and real sales stated THEN we say we have real solid base to move forward. Fever tree took several years before their big take off! IMHO

Any large sales today must be end of tax year profit taking.......equally there will be a wall of new tax year and ISA money coming in next week, even without an rns in the meantime!

Totally agree! They have to maximise vaccine take up before testing is given as a viable alternative, so could even be a couple of weeks yet for the big rollout Announcement from no 10, but I would still expect big Al to rns ss results and CE approval before then, next week is my guess.

The decline in the sp has a lot to do with only two things:
- no news.
- end of tax year banking of profits/utilising annual CGT allowance.

IMHO the first is just nerves, nothing fundamental has changed!
the second is expected at this time of year.
So stay calm and soldier on!

It means that any profit made when selling shares to put the money into your next year ISA cannot be set against your annual tax free allowance (£12.3k), equally any loss so incurred cannot be carried forward to be set against future profits!.

Valuing this is quite difficult because Avacta are not selling a cancer drug and therefore not directly comparable to drug sales, they are just selling a way to make existing proven chemo drugs 10 times more effective. So the volume of drugs sold could actually reduce (however they would open up the market for over 65's as they can't tolerate high doses of chemo, so that would balance out the market somewhat!?) but the success rate in patients goes up! Therefore the demand for affirmers will be high and maybe drugs sales actually go up as well (because more patients can handle higher targeted doses!?). So overall how would their royalties be charged? Presume just by a % of drug sales, would that be 1 to 10% then? They will take a good % of the total chemo (and other drugs) market, so yes maybe 10%! Any views?
