I agree with much of that, but still believe significant numbers will be sold, maybe a bit less than might have been (because of much you say), but still think testing will be required for major events (football matches, etc), travel and work. Each country is at a different stage of vaccination (mostly nowhere near UK), and will have a different attitude towards testing ( some for, some against). Europe/RoW may then turn out to be the main market.

Ngn, I understand your scepticism and it is held by many, but how do you expect to get back to near normal (such as shoulder to shoulder in the pub, club, restaurant or big event!) without testing. Vaccines get us so far, but definitely not all the way! Agree the public maybe a bit irresponsible and say wtf i am not doing that (testing), in which case another wave coming in the winter!

You answered your own question, there are too many loose ends right now, when these come together then the rerate happens and a new floor created! We need CE marking, orders/contracts, DHSC contract, manufacturing partners and capacity All to be announced, hopefully in early May,. Then actual delivery/sales, no doubt starting lowish and ramping up quickly over 1-3 mths.
So May is key followed by a couple of months of ramping up production THEN a decent new sp floor will be created at ca £4-5. Imho

I would expect that Avacta are in deep discussions with DHSC, but they cannot release any information as yet because said discussions not concluded yet and because they do not wish to upset an already slightly tetchy relationship. The CV has only just been published and so a bit early to expect that to translate into a contract just yet, HMG doesn't work that fast, they have processes to go through!!
I fully expect a DHSC contract in the next few weeks, HMG/Boris just cannot miss this golden opportunity to showcase the "Best of British/World"!

I would expect the Innova contract to be a call off contract up to certain value, not a defined value come what may! In which case it can be progressively reduced call off as an alternative is progressively ramped up. No need to wait til June expiry, our call off contract can start as soon as both parties agree!

Anyone know what hurdles have to crossed to allow Avacta to market in the US? Is it FDA approval or similar. I am sure they will pursue whatever is necessary, but no doubt got their hands full for the next couple of months for a big push just now, but obviously working on it. So no US breakthrough expected just yet, however they would be best partnered/licensed with a US company to do all the legwork, would that be Cytiva then?

It may not be zero, but the last income statement was up to sept 2020, no one knows anything on income/expenditure since then. Won’t be great because of pandemic though, and I know the sp is forward looking and driven by expectation, but it has to be supported by real net cashflow to go much further.
I have a fair chunk in here so want success, but right now it’s stalled due to lack of transparency. Imho

Don’t even think about it until we have at least 6 mths net positive income declared, currently zero! The 2 amigos cannot hide behind lack of disclosure forever as if it’s a commercial confidentiality! The current mcap has to be supported with real sales n profit......otherwise it becomes all smoke n mirrors!

The IP and rns's before will be blockbusters IMHO! You are either a believer or not, there must be a 90+% chance it will be great, nothing negative as ever come out except a bit of scepticism about delays, non of which is really material. It will showcase LFT's outstanding success and also progress on all the other pipeline of developments, otherwise why would AS schedule an IP to the world at this point!?

No company gives a running commentary of things about to happen, they only report on facts by rns when known.

Remind everyone that the likes of Tesla are on p/e of 1190!! Which means that investors are enthused by the huge potential of the company, not just on current revenue. Having said that, after all the hype on LFT's being the best, etc, they have to deliver shortly or the sp will tank (short term, but NOT forever!!)
