Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
I agree that a lot is going on behind the scenes (and not all negative), so until HMG get their act together and have a clear strategy/contracts for testing THEN you cannot blame AS for radio silence (iF it was done and dusted for better or worse he would have to tell the market, so no news is good news IMHO!).
There are 200 NHS Trusts in England, do they each have a procurement dept and can buy what LFT they like (subject to CE mark), surely a minimum standard on ss is required too.? I would have thought LFT's would be purchased centrally to gain a better price (supposedly)!?
A drill satem test primarily is about rate of pressure build up, that is the well is flowed once to clean up then shut in for a bit and then flowed at fair rate (usually choked in) followed by a a shut in. The rate of pressure rebuild after flowing is recorded and analysed, which provides more information as to the potential size of the reservoir. The more rapid the pressure rebuilds post flowing indicates higher rock porosity and the bigger the reservoir. This certainly applies to oil wells, and I feel sure the same applies to gas wells.
Why dont Zoe just publish the sales figures and store numbers straight, without PI's having to double guess them! They must have the precise numbers, as any professional sales organisation would, otherwise they are not doing their job properly!
They would publish them if they were that knock out good!
Great news, although expected of course for mid July!
When AS talks about plenty of near term news on Ava6000 I presume that there will be an Rns for first dose to patient and followed every 6 weeks or so about interim progress towards identifying MTD.
"the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey."
I trust that all the organisations that will use testing will have their own HSE depts on top of the technicalities of LFT's (S n S, etc) and hence will be not be driven by price alone, although that will be a factor! The impact on lost time/reputation of a poor LFT should vastly outweigh the marginal extra cost of a good LFT.......quality will succeed in the end!
"..For me the question is not whether we’re going to sell lots to the UK or not, but when we’re going to get closure on that outcome,..."
Totally agree Cautious that is the big question, can't be long now surely!
If DHSC are gearing up the IT and logistics for testing, THEN what about the supply and manufacturing of the test!? Surely they must commit on supply/manufacturing very shortly as whoever does it (hopefully Avacta) needs a reasonable lead time to fully gear up!?
I agree the Trinity valuation is very conservative a base case really. It is based on 5m/mth covid 19 test manufacturing/sales and a 10% chance of success for Ava6000, etc.!! If you believe (which I do) in way more than either of those then the sp valuation soars!
The 6 mth news flow on Ava6000 is potentially quite good IMO:
First dose - mid July
First efficacy and safety result 6 weeks later
Second ditto 6 weeks
Third ditto 6 weeks
Fourth ditto 6 weeks
That is, of course, IF they report at each stage, even if it is not detailed such as " first stage concluded with no fundamental concerns" and "second stage.....no concerns " etc. I think there is a fair chance that could happen.
Of course the big one is the full report of the Phase 1a trials due by end of the year. If that is a success then the sp will respond enormously, even though Phase 1b of a year is still required.
There is also IND submission to the FDA, and if accepted that will be the start of the US adventure.
The sp will respond at all these points even though commercialisation/funds flow maybe 2 years away!! So a progressive lift off IMO, starting soon......if successful then the end result will be mega mega!
I listened to that and although what she said was generally correct it didn't come across as well as her articles! So not that impressed with her overall presentation, she should have been more focussed and hard hitting I am afraid.
