Sad to see people not wanting to stay invested. I joined up when I read about the Metis people in North Alberta and thought what a great combination this might be. They know the forests and the wild life, our company know about forestry management and can provide means to improve the situation in Alberta. After about a couple of years waiting for the Provincial Govermnet to move on matters, in 2016 there was a terrific forest fire swept through the southern part of Alberta, causing tremendous damage. People here were feeling devastated that perhaps forestry management as proposed by AEG might have avoided or mitigated the damage caused. Technically, we understood that proper management would have been working to gather the waste materials from the forest floor since this is one of the prime ways in which a fire may start and be perpetuated. But was not to be !! Now we learn that a company had rights to 5 million hectares of forest, did they ever gather up the materials from the forest floor ? If AEG do actually control that company let us hope they will impact their Morals and Goals as you rightly say. This kind of enterprise reaches out far more than just making profits. To be able to offer equipment and ideas developed by AEG to bring about better living conditions is an ideal in itself, but not recognised by too many individuals or big business, or even goverments !!! Briefly, reference was made to RNSs issued during last summer which contained notes about the company looking to consider a number of possible acquisitions, but little has materilalised yet. I do believe we have a right to celebrate the MOU today. Hello WY. Looking at second part of your note. The company have taken the SHARE PRICE stated each day for five days, added them up and divided by 5 for five consecutive days and got 146. 2 I think!!! SO if you want to use your next divi to get these Scrip shares you will have to pay 146.2 each. At the moment they are 144.6 (at about 2.15 pm) So just a bit cheaper now. Yours, Max.

He decided to set up a Referendum to choose whether we should leave the Eurozone or not. No simple rules were laid down such as a minmum % of votes were needed to overturn our membership and leave. Millions of people were made eligible to vote who had no right to have been included since they were not citizens of this country, either by birth or length of time living here as naturelised citizens. Consequently, the citizens who had put their lives at risk in the defence of this country were overwhelmed by others who had no real interests as to why we were members in the first place. Many of these people had no thoughts as to what the European Community represented. It began to avoid more European wars, not to settle the quarrels in other countries elsewhere. AND despte its struggles, it had succeded. Many European nations had difficulties in establishing governments of stabillity, at various times. France, Italy and Greece, to name just three had troubles, they still all wanted to stay in the Zone because it offered some sort of shelter from warfare. They must be astonished that the UK decided to leave after the efforts of Conservative governments led by Mrs Thatcher and John Major fought so hard to stay in and make the other members accept terms which were favourable to the UK. I had a good perusal of the structures featured, quite a large, but compact "factory" Seems well designed and manufactured, probably with minimum welding but a lot of bolting to enble quick dismounting if need be. SmokeyRose. I would suggest that you continue to be pedantic and correct what our learned colleagues have both mispelled. A Gas Meter is a meter, is a meter! During the Sixties and Seventies, whilst teaching engineering students we had to emphasise the spelling and sizes used in the metric system. Some students inevitably struggled with the conversion of Imperial Measurement to Metric, and so did some of the older lecturers at the time. The recognised standard during this period was a bar(of Platinum, if I remember correctly) kept in Paris which was the home of the metric system. When my second college empowered me to spend a large amount of money on new machines, one machine, the guillotine had support arms which were calibrated in metric, and everyone had to use the metric system since engineering was now totally described in millimetres rather than inches. Text books were having to be re-written to equate to the examintion questions being posed. One author wanted to use the phrase about "inching something up" He said "Move the object either 25.4 or 50.8 milliimetres" This book did not receive recommndations to our student. Reflecting upon your remarks regarding "One Biggy". If we consider that the company has spent wisely on the "IT COMPANIES" so far and leaves them to consolidate for the best purposes of the company. Perhaps any "Biggy" might be devoted to producing more engineering work under John Constable and his immediate team. Then where should the "Biggy" be located, on the coast for naval work and assembly, or somewhere inland near Manchester, perhaps. Dukinfield is well set up according to reports, but a purely production base would need to be somewhat apart from the AMC, since vibration from high production rates using heavy presses perhaps would be unwelcome at the AMC. I understand there is a very good coffee Cafe/Restaurant in London called The Attendant which specialises in using coffee beans from Uganda. They support the farmers there by only buying specific farmers beans and the farmer gets higher than normal prices. If I recall correctly, the company advertised for 5 Shift Chemists. To attract such highly qualified staff for regular day work would require probably 27k to 30k in my view. To take on shift work requiring various hours of work at the requirement of the works management, would probably need to pay �32k minimum for a starting salary. Guide Dogs for the blind. As a member of Blind Veterans UK I attended a training week at their establishment in North Wales. There were about 50 members there and only one had a guide dog with him. Our places at the table for all meals were fixed and I sat next to this gentleman and his black labrador guide. It was well behaved until it sat on my foot, then I knew we had another friend with us! He told me a lot about the guide dogs and their training, the dog still wanted to lick my fingers under the table cloth. It was a most exqusite experience being there, the total cost of training the person and dog he estimated at �60,000. Yours, Max.

LSE99, I would have thought the NOM inated AD viser (NOMAD) was just an adviser to the company whose opinion may well carry considerable weight . Since the term Adviser is used then the advice could well be considered by the BoD and ignored or not as they wish. Since the BoD is responsible for all aspects of the activities of the company they do have serious strategic options to consider, sometimes in a short period of time. They would therefore need to be extremely careful if they were to ignore what may look like solid grounds to go down one route and not another. As for a broker, it appears that they will sometimes express an opinion on how a company is doing.
