People don't have to reply to someone who is ineveitably going to jump to conclusions, right or wrong. You don't have to changestatements or sentences to suit your one track mind. I quoted a lecturers statement verbatim since I heard it and the discussion that followed. the sentence was "Their first duty is to SURVIVE" You then twist that to say "They only care about survival". You would be no good as a witness in court since you are so ignorant in responding accurately and then putting forward your OWN view point. You were wondering about have they done their duty to shareholders. A Business Lecturer asked his students ------ "What is the First Duty of a company ? It is expected that today, Mrs May in her speech in Scotland about the "Brexit Deal" will announce that the fishing industry will be shielded after the event. SEE my last post about vessels needed for fishery protection duties. Whilst we are not, to my knowledge, engaged in producing surface vessels, I believe we could rapidly take on some part in manufacturing if requested. It appears to me that this company, Active Energy and its subsiduaries, has the means of helping, by its investment in talent and technology, to help numerous countries like Canada, USA, Finland and others to VASTLY improve their natural forests in avoiding wildfires like those in California recently with its deadly damaging effects on population and property, and at the same time help countries like Poland and Germany to VASTLY reduce their smoke-laden atmosphere. This double-edged approach is something that should be supported by the United Nations, the United Kingdom, as well as EURO as manifestly the most desirable prospect for the foreseeable future. You have been on here long enough to know that earlier PIs have lived and breathed the problems and potential solutions put forward by AEG. Alberta was a very trying experience since having linked up with the Metis People, who live in Northern Alberta fortunately, the newly elected provincial government proved very reluctant to see any progress there. Whether is was political or simply having to come to terms in taking over a new government system and being cautious not to set a foot wrong, I don't know. You may recall they had a devastating forest fire in mid 2016 in South Alberta, followed a year later with another in their neighbouring province of British Columbia. A large part of AEGs proposals, as is well known, was to collect ALL the debris lying about in the forest and use it in the Coalswitch plant. Two great ideas combined there !! Perhaps the idea of allowing a British firm to manage the forests galls them a little, but they know we have the technology to make coalswitch !! Frustration, isn't it exasperating when you can visualise sensible, to you, actions that could have been or should have been taken and it appears we have missed the boat ! I think the submarine work that is in hand should, in the present situation, be speeded up if possible. The need for more naval vessels underwater and surface is growing almost daily. This country cannot afford to sit back and await events. Russia and Ukraine are stretching matters in the area of the Black Sea. If the Russians send naval forces down the North Sea with they take the chance to cause havoc among underwater gas pipes and cables between UK and Europe ? Welcome back, belatedly. Hope you are well, as is the company, though it should be showing more strength i believe in its share price. I don' worry over this as the company is very much following the correct pattern in its approach to both business in all its variety of matters to be observed but also to its workers and customers. It aeems to me to be deserving of more recognition from the larger industrial firms who require almost instant supply of essential equipment delivered to site, and of the right kind. The people supplying to customers need to be very knowledgeable about the customers urgent needs and the fulfilment of those needs. ---- Yours, Max.

My Dear Fellow, Now you can doze off in your Lincolnshire Green attire having reinforced many of the studies I made when you were in short trousers. I had shares in ITM The hydrogen company but had to sell due to family circumstances. They were inspiring but not gravy train people. They have just launched their 7th hydrogen refuelling station (HRS) close to Johnson Mathey at Swindon on the M4. The nearest HRS to DIREBY is still the one at Junction 33 on the M!, at the Advanced Mechanical Park at Rotherham. Hydrogen, I always thought, was the furure fuel for transport and may well out play battery types, but I don't worry, I don' drive now after 50 years of it. Thanks for your note, how is the Forest ?? No coincidence, a Centre of Excellence has been established in the area you speak of. It includes a refueling station for vehicles driving on hydrogen, which was built by ITM Power if I recall properly. A number of companies are or hoping to be established there besides McC, who have apparently been there sometime. I believe Sheff Uni were the original people to establish the centre. Reading summary by LSE it seems that Professor Neto of Singapoer Uni feels that there are plenty of sharks swimming around with Graphene clenched in their wide open mouths and making plenty of noise about it. I am a firm believer in VRS and like you do want it to do well, as I have said many times, not just for the company etc but also the economy. When we are outside looking in, shall we be able to make batterys for vehicles, do we have the raw materials, Lithium, etc ? I do wonder how we shall manage to make sufficient exports to pay for our imports. We do have some industries which are world leaders but we have the propensity to let them be sold off to foreign countries for them to exploit. we were informed some time ago that we in this country make about 100 items for export to EURO which they cannot make themselves, but how many of these items depend on imports of the raw material ? Graphene is made from graphite usually, but how much of that do we have ? Is it mostly in Australia with a somewhat lower grade available in China ? Too many questions for a Friday night. Willl Haydale be able to take advantage of the large 3D printers for graphene production ? You tell us AECOM, partnered with VRS, are contemplating using Europes largest 3D printer. Why don't the government announce that they have signed contracts to extend the docks at GIB to accommodate our new Aircraftcarriers, just like at Portsmouth. I am sure they already have docks suitable for Nuclear and "Normal" submarines. They could have a nuclear sub call and show itself momentarily !!
