ODX will not have been informed if the test has passed/failed. If CK knew he would be duty bound to announce an RNS.
There is something really smelly going on with regards these evaluations. I suggest anyone write to the Sunday Times Investigative Journalist Emily Dugan emily.dugan@sundaytimes.co.uk She does not appear to be frightened to dig for the truth
Fortunato - So where is ODX? Why are they not knocking the door of the US?
I have written and if we all do the same she will be duty bound to do something. BIVDA are there to support the British Biotech Industry without which her role becomes untenable and so does that of BIVDA.
The best person to write to, who is influential, has all the right contacts and opens doors is Doris-Ann Williams, CEO of BIVDA (British Invitro Diagnostics Association) She welcomed the current Health Secretary, Sajid Javid

I urge everyone to write to push forward the British Biotech Industry. If anyone can make their voice heard it is BIVDA.

If we all add a little fuel we get a big fire. A result.
Looks to break 30pence today? Picking up lots of interest....
And who was it shot me down when I said some weeks ago we would shortly run out of LFT's as more and more people tested. I estimated at that time, prior to Omicron that 10 million LFT's were being used a week. I also predicted that more and more people would move towards more regular testing every few days and possibly every day as we got towards the Festive season and here we are running short on tests.... I for one am going to hold on to these shares. We are going to be testing more and more for years to come as more variants will inevitably surface. Hold tight and you will be rewarded for patience.
Computer909 - That long awaited approval could be rushed through in a matter of days. As you say highly likely ODX have all the components ready to start making tests and at 2 million a week wouldn't take them long to start ramping up capacity. They also have a bank of temp staff ready to run day and night shifts. All that is needed is approval and a solid agreed contract then the green button can be pushed.
I have had several friends who have had problems with Flowflex and Innova tests, one in particular was ill for about 7 days showing all the symptoms of COVID. She tested negative on Innova, ordered new tests and was delivered the Flowflex, tested negative again, testing everyday. On day 7 she decided to order a PCR, came back positive. So how many of us unknowingly have thought we are negative, gone to work, socialised etc.
Bottom line we need tests that are known to be accurate. We know the Chinese have never been good on quality on anything. Very much a case of, "Get in fast and grab the cash."
The bit I like is, "Bringing new products on board." Let's see some British ones for a change. Perhaps some optimism here.
I think you will find that less and less go to Chinese contracts due to bad press and public opinion. The Chinese also tend to use Distributers who are UK based and also have a commission cut. ODX supplying direct would not need to factor this in and I believe with volume sales could well match the Chinese on price. I am hoping however that they are targeting the US market where there is even greater demand. Watch this space I think in the coming week or so you will see a turnaround in ODX fortunes.....
For all those who are not long term investors, a summary. The Chinese tests were rushed in, very rushed into the UK without a robust evaluation process being in place and as we know they had a high failure rate. HMG then implemented an evaluation process which swung completely the other direction and was too rigorous. To alleviate this the protocols for evaluation have been changed several times. ODX are stuck in that process trying to win test approval. If HMG were savvy they would implement an Emergency Use Approval as per the FDA in the US. . Surescreen managed to navigate the evaluation process fairly quickly and successfully early days. ODX were as usual too slow. The contract/non contract with DHSC then failed to materialise as the UK by this time was completely swamped with Chinese imports. If I was DHSC I would immediately provide Emergency Use Approval for ODX tests and resurrect the DHSC manufacturing contract. We know the technology is Mologic’s technology which is reported to have excellent results and can detect the Omicron variant. If you have seen the CTDA list you will note how many further Chinese tests have passed evaluation for future use. Don’t for one minute think HMG are paying for Chinese tests. They are not. You, me and every other tax payer in this country are paying the Chinese for poor quality tests
The problem is the bottleneck over evaluations/approvals. It is so simple why not give British companies priority over Chinese on evaluations and provide Emergency Use Approval as per the FDA in the US? Seems to me a perfectly simple solution.
Sent a very long email to Sir Keir Starmer. I am not one of the lazy ones but my fingers are sore from typing today. Time for a glass of red.
Could you provide the email address please?
Looks like many countries including Spain have a shortage of LFTs. Didn't someone say that ODX could sell their tests via DAM in Spain. This is a bigger opportunity that we first suspected.

I have always said CK is like a cat with 9 lives. Remember when the share price was 9 pence, yes 9 pence and it shot up to £1.16 in a flash. Is he going to pull it out of the hat again. He may well do. The next few days should be indicative.
robortsmith - Starmer would love to use the story of Omega against the current HMG

The fact this has been announced any stock is going to disappear quickly as the public panic stock. What a fantastic well organised Government we have. Couldn't organise a p*** up in a brewery.
1965Kevin - You have started on the red wine a bit early. How many do you want.
The amount of emails I have written in support of ODX I should be on their payroll. As you say ODX marketing should be managing this. The Penny, maybe the wrong one, did drop today. Surescreen are based in England, ODX, Scotland. Get my drift............
