Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
So all you derampers who have crawled out of nowhere over Christmas, why are ODX advertising for Production Staff and it is posted as a NEW post https://www.totaljobs.com/job/production-assistant/cordant-people-job96013217
Sharebel - I agree with you too many paid derampers on here with no real grip on the facts. For the first time since on this BB started filtering them out. Just a waste of ones brain cells.
Bishopbasher - I think you are right there have been too many straws clutched but I have confidence Landsdown Capital have now been called in to help broker deals. FDA approvals are not as onerous as some make out and an excellent opportunity for ODX.
The Government are currently relying heavily on Surescreen capacity but that will be maxed out soon if not already and it is my gut feeling that manufacturing will have to go to ODX. Has anyone actually seen a Surescreen test?
Bottom line look at the sea of blue buys, a few of which are mine. Shares are risky business but with the risks diminishing and demand increasing I personally see this closing good today.
RegulatorUK - Do I recall correctly you are involved in procurement but yet you were not aware that the link you posted is for a PCR test not a Lateral Flow Test?

Also PCR tests are to be limited in order to ease lab pressure.

Inaccurate facts yet again.
There are so many inaccuracies on this BB from rampers/derampers. Then there are the inaccuracies as reported in the newspapers. Remember newspapers sell scandal. Yes HMG have been caught with their boxers down buying Chinese c*** and one way for Boris to survive would be to turn this around and come out as the hero of the day.
FACT 1 – ODX is a manufacturing site, which HMG contracted to manufacture a UK test. As such no test has yet passed evaluation and the contract lapsed. There are still tests awaiting CTDA approval from various UK based Biotech companies so there is nothing to suggest that this contract cannot be redeemed
FACT 2 – ODX have developed their own COVID test, Visitect which is currently AWAITING CTDA approval.
ODX are not obliged to sell their tests in the UK and if I was them I would be speaking to the US where the FDA could fast track their test for Emergency Use Approval. It could well be they are already in negotiations with them doing just that. Who knows.
Anyone reporting COVID is going to suddenly disappear and is similar to Flu needs their head examined. Only yesterday it was announced a new variant has been found in France. There is a long way to go unfortunately before life gets back to what it was, if ever, and we stop using Lateral Flow tests. FACT!
Da-Doo-Roo-Ron - Gosh that's a mouthful of a name to remember lol.
Well done for amending that letter and what a good letter it is. Couldn't have done better. Emailed Starmer, last week, along with a very long list of others, and although I got a confirmation email no response. Suppose it will take a few days for everyone to get back and catch up with emails.
In the meantime in light of the BBC news this evening and the large number of COVID cases now affecting healthcare and transport staff which in turn is affecting the economy as a whole COVID is not going to go away soon. Worst case scenario ODX take your tests elsewhere and you will win. Best case scenario keep them in the UK and sell, sell and sell. Either way a winner. If I can topping up tomorrow.
BIGBangs - glad you amended the letter from Hasiba in terms of facts, grammar and punctuation. A polished letter makes more of an impact. Also, contacts from another poster and myself.
Hasiba - your letter is incorrect, as yet ODX have not received evaluation or approval of their tests.
Mardler - Totally agree with you and filtered HotChip. Have read so many ill informed/clueless posters that it was my Number 1 resolution for 2022 to filter them and have got off to a good start.
HotChip - I utterly do not agree with you.
DHSC have led ODX up the garden path. ODX jumped, refurbished/extended their premises on the promise of a contract. What were they to do? Wait around and do nothing. No they jumped as fast as they could and also employed agencies to set aside a bank of 250 or so temp workers. What about all the materials to make the tests. That will have been bought and paid for in bulk advance of the contract commencing. That 2.5 million and perhaps more has been well spent on putting in place what HMG asked for so I don't think they have a right to ask for it back and there will be a paper trail to proof this.
BOTTOM LINE ODX IS THERE READY TO ROCK AND ROLL AND ROCK AND ROLL THEY WILL.
stu485 - Apart from ODX not selling in the UK I think you are missing several key points.
1. ODX are both a manufacturing site and R&D and therefore can manufacture for any Company, worldwide
2. They can and will sell their tests abroad, they do not have to rely on the UK market . Most likely the US where there is huge demand
3. The most important point - THERE IS A WORLDWIDE SHORTAGE OF LFT'S.
It may not all be happening in the timescales we would like to see but it will happen.
hasiba - I am sorry this is where you will have to dictate your own letter. I cannot do this for you.
It is easy to become aggressive and bitter in the current climate when Chinese COVID tests are favoured over home grown and many a family will have lost a loved one, for which I offer my sincere condolences. In order to win over our Government and to encourage change we must temper our anger and present the facts. We must write to as many contacts as possible, those that carry weight, who are the key decision makers in the process of how and when Evaluations/Approvals are managed, HMG etc, etc….. I have written off to the following contacts as well as every journalist, MP etc possible and will continue to do so. Can I please ask all of you to keep doing the same? Do not give up or in.
I know I have mentioned BIVDA several times and I re-iterate they are supposed to be the voice of the British Biotech Industry but their absence has been most conspicuous throughout this Pandemic.

Read my note from 11.18 this morning.
"Even if it has failed, which we don't know at the moment, ODX is a manufacturing site and can still manufacture any test that has passed the evaluation process and looking to upscale capacity. A win win for ODX but obviously we investors do hope that their test does pass evaluation"
Receiving Approval AND CE marking is a completely separate entity from manufacturing. I can see ODX helping Surescreen to increase their capacity. Watch this space......
asher7 - I think all this bad press is finally going to go in favour of ODX but they do need a good PR Company.
As per my post yesterday we have not heard a dickey bird from BIVDA. For those that don't know the majority of British Biotech companies are members of BIVDA (British Invitro Diagnostics Association) and as such pay an annual fee for support from BIVDA. What support??? Their silence is deafening and yet they have direct access into Parliament. Where oh where art thou BIVDA?
DaProphet - NDA Agreement are the norm in any business transaction. Doh! Filtered. Useless info.....
PCR's might have had priority but not anymore. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/covid-19-pcr-tests-cancelled-for-millions-to-ease-lab-pressure-wfvkv9s6s
