johnnykipper - good sound positive comments. This is but a dip. This market is a risk and we will have falls and even bigger rises. Now we have false hopes out of the way the Company can move forward but CK having signed the DHSC contract has to go. Unfortunately greed blinded him on the Terms of the contract and I wouldnt be surprised if this the reason the previous FD left after 20 years in the role. It seems the previous Chairman put the wrong guy into the leadership chair when the previous CEO retired.

HMG are renowned for doing U turns it's their back to front non lateral way of running a country. Promise one thing and then do the opposite. With the O variant on the increase and the increased capacity required for daily testing now being suggested who knows but we should not count our chickens. I -re-iterate the DAM contract is where we are going to win business and as I type I am sure Lansdowne Capital are brokering a few more contracts.

I am personally going to buy at this low price. Can't beat a bargain when I can smell good news to come.

DO NOT PANIC - I have commented several times the DAM contract is much stronger and larger than any possible potential DHSC contract. I back my comments by the fact that not Colin but Lansdowne Capital are brokering deals. Sit back take a deep breath and move forward.

Bluebutton - instead of wasting time moaning on this BB suggest you write to your local MP asking if and when HMG are going to live up to their promises and support British Biotech companies. The more pressure we ALL put on HMG the more likely we will start to see British contracts fulfilled = rise in share price. So all please take 30 minutes out of your day and pen an email.

You are so wrong. DAM are already using the Omega tests in their clinics. Furthermore the Gov free tests cannot be accepted as a “Fit to Fly test.”

FACT
The test does not need HUA approval for the DAM contract. These tests have Professional Use approval to be carried out in clinic, hence the reason DAM entered a contract with ODX and are expanding their network of clinics.
The GOV has agreed for ODX to retain and use the £17 million worth of manufacturing equipment on loan which they will use to make tests for DAM
ODX have employed a team of agency staff ready to step in for kitting of tests
Lansdown Capital are also looking to broker additional deals for ODX and have a good track record

All in all I would say positive news

In non pandemic years 280 million people travelled in and out of the UK by air alone. Figures will be down on this but people are once again travelling

Forget the DHSC contract. The DAM contract has bigger potential. In normal times over 280 million passengers fly in and out of the UK each year. Most of us are itching to get off to warmer climates despite the added costs of LFD and PCR tests. This is going to rocket in the next few days....

A recent news flash reports the Scottish Government are now encouraging people to test daily and to even take a test every time they go out. That will see the Chinese stockpile dwindle even quicker. Good times around the corner.......

I think you will find, that whilst it doesn’t state clearly, that figure of 4 million LFD tests taken relates to England only. It appears each nation reports their stats separately. Earlier this year in Jan/Feb England alone reported 7.6 million tests were taken. The Gov will push the green button well before stock is utilised as will need to build up stock. To supply equipment to the tune of £17m they had a master plan in mind and there is nothing to suggest that has changed. What muddied the waters was the poor quality Chinese tests flooding the market...........

FACTS
There are approximately 10 million LFD COVID tests taken a week in the UK. This is set to rise as the Gov encourage us towards more and more testing. If we have a current stockpile of 300 million Chinese tests that stockpile is not going to last forever i.e. 30 weeks.

With new variants the need for testing is going to increase dramatically around the world. Once ODX win HUA, and there is no reason to doubt they will, there is nothing to stop this share price rocketing. Also take into account the Gov's advice to test, test and test before meeting up with family over Christmas, that is going to be a lot of tests. The Chinese stockpile is dwindling. The Gov are renowned for doing a U turn and I predict the DHSC contract will come in time. Won't be long before the green button is pressed at ODX and all that equipment starts turning. ODX will also have contacts in the US and I am expecting news there. Maybe won't happen in the timeframe we are so impatient for but it will happen. Have faith.

Absolutely agree with your comments. The one thing of note is that ODX have not burnt their bridges but have left comms open with DHSC.

nxc: I have been reflecting on the potential for upside from the current price ( which I believe is underpinned by the other two divisions). 1. DHSC - much has been written about this and the Company found itself in an impossible position having been in active dialogue with DHSC until very recently. I guess it had a choice as to alienate DHSC or wrap some wording around the contract expiring and leaving the door open for further dialogue both with regard to the use of the equipment and/or supplying the preferred DHSC test. The Company has been accused of misleading investors re DHSC and whilst I feel badly let down I suspect that there was a genuine belief right up until Mid-November that they were going to secure a meaningful bit of business from DHSC.Will the opportunity ever return ? One would like to think given the many extra miles walked by the Company on behalf of this Government that there would be some recognition of this. However right at this moment in time it is impossible to forecast and any attempt to put any positive spin on the situation would be met with howls of derision. The Company though does need to go on the front foot without alienating DHSC and more actively engage with those that can rightly influence those in power.We have a good offering a good story to tell. I think the DHSC angle is far from dead but meaningful revenues will not be seen until second half of 2022. 2. HUA - I am confident that HUA will be forthcoming and that will provide a significant boost to revenues with commercial discussions awaiting final regulatory approval. 3. FDA - I personally do not see this happening in short order and even if it does happen the main action is in self-test and not professional testing. The scale of investment for the former is in my view beyond ODX's reach as it does not have the capital resources necessary to exploit the opportunity. I am left with the impression that the Company is as shell-shocked as we are by the decision of DHSC not to award any business currently to ODX ( do not get tied up with the legalese as that is just a convenient smokescreen) however all is not dead and I would like to think our country ultimately needs ODX and other UK diagnostic companies if it is to get out of this mess.

We investors have indeed been played for fools but it makes you wonder if they are still playing us driving the price down ahead of something......Good Cop, Bad Cop. Time will tell. I hope there is going to be good news for all. Meanwhile I have ordered an early Christmas present. A set of voodoo dolls, replicas of the ODX BOD.
