And who was the Doubting Thomas who doubted my 10 million LFT tests being taken weekly. Now over 15 millions tests a week which will rise as more and more test over Christmas and on a daily basis. Take my word for it that equipment at ODX is being calibrated ready for use

Cavity you are talking through a hole in your head. There is not one UK Biotech Company in the UK supplying LFT's but many and what about European companies. Surely paying these companies rather than lining the pockets of Chinese companies who caused the pandemic makes more economical sense.

Ah Pumpky someone with some common sense. My family for one have a boycott on purchasing Chinese products. Not easy I know as we are swamped with products in the UK but just doesn't sit well personally with us to fill their deep pockets when they have been responsible for this pandemic and caused so much misery to so many families and will continue to do so for goodness knows how long.

Kitakeat - you need to buy a dictionary and learn to spell first instead of spouting economical nonsense. You haven't a b**** scoopy. Off you go back to Disney World. Hi, ho, hi, ho it's off to work we go, we work all day, we get no pay, hi ho.....

Kitateat - the government has to buy at the best price, if the uk price is far higher than importing from Asia then it makes no economic sense to get from the UK. if the UK overpay it would be wrong, yes its frustrating that they are buying from overseas but this happens in a lot of industries

I think Kitakeat you will find that lining the pockets of the Chinese with public funds does not make ANY economical sense at all and it is also downright unethical! Don't FORGET it was the Chinese that caused this pandemic in the first place. If you dig deep you will probably find that UK companies are indeed competitive with their pricing.

BIGBangs - I still believe once we finally get the approvals we may well be asked to produce tests fir HMG

I believe the same. It has already been hinted by HMG that we should look at daily testing and up in Scotland one of their Ministers has said he tests daily. There is a trend here i.e. drop a hint and then we are told....With daily testing this is going to hugely push up demand and for those not vaccinated they have to show a negative test to get into some venues. It has been a long long time coming but I truly believe it is just around the corner

Monkeymoo - any court in the land will allow you to pay over time as long as you are seen to be repaying the so called debt. We still don't know for certainty if they have been asked to repay OR indeed of this is HMG trying to re-open negotiations on the contract. Nothing would surprise me. Given that we are going to need a shedload of LFD' to test for the Omicron variant would be wise for HMG to keep Omega sweet but then have they ever been wise? Wadogora - I absolutely agree that there could well be a climb-down. I topped up a bit more. In for a penny in for a £1 ....Someone mentioned this could be a tactic to get the contract price down. Nothing would surprise me. Taking a risk and hopefully it will pay off.

donotpanic - if DHSC all ready paid then they walked away.. no way ODX have to pay.. but DHSC coming back asking for money... means only one thing lets do a deal... say new contract gets signed for 6 million but we all ready paid yo 2.5... so that way DHSC don't have to spend buying from another supplier.. again only my opinion.

That is a possible but wouldn't totally hold out on it. There's no rationale with HMG, no joined up thinking. Still holding for DAM contract and I do sincerely think that approval is in hand but will come in it's own time and not because we investors are moaning.

Thinkin - Innova tests are now out of the market it is Flowflex but again Chinese. Just can't understand the logic of using Chinese tests when there is a British Biotech industry. Oh I must be missing something, was it not the Chinese that caused this pandemic in the first place and so effectively we are paying them for the pandemic?

QUITE SIMPLY THE WRONG MAN IN THE WRONG JOB and if the Chairman doesn't get his finger out and do something well his position is also untenable. My only hope is that the new FD gets the CEO role. New broom sweeps clean ........ I believe this Company is a great Company it is the leadership or lack of it that is totally wrong !
