The Puma Hotels are very nice ( forgotten what they were called before Puma), Lygon Arms in Broadway is my favourite. I must return their ice bucket one day. Cheltenham Park Hotel I have stayed in many times, as I used to work over there. I very nearly had a punt myself, glad I didn't let sentiment rule my head.

Homebase is rumoured to be up for sale, as they cannot compete with B & Q.

Rexam has difficult times lately with higher costs. I think at £5,00 and the current dividends...this is a solid share. I for one will be a buyer at this price.

A bit of a rally this morning, I am glad to see.

Perhaps all the bad news and dirty washing is now out. So I believe the sp will settle down and slowly recover some of it's lost ground. Still B&Q is the place the majority of households will go to for DIY products. So at 308p, I think it is a buy. I would say that of course as I am in at 311p !

SP should fall by 75% for a 4 for 1 deal. So looks about right.

Fallen back a bit now, but still a nice increase. Nice to hear Midas thinks a lot of Moon. I am not so sure. Buy out is the best option for us investors IMO

Z...yes I can see this rising as II's need to fill their quota's. PI's may get on board and cause a temporary surge. I am not convinced on the downside to below £1.80....which I should have snapped up. I said earlier there was profit to be made here, but beware you could get your fingers burnt if you follow like sheep!

When SAGA went down to £1.80, it looked tempting. Not sure about £1.83, but it would be good to buy in at less than the offer price. FT100 up today which may have helped the sp.

I left this alone, as it became increasingly obvious that a decent quick profit was not going to be made. Surprised though that the offer price was at the bottom. If I had known that I would have invested.( which would have been pointless as allocation is so low). Share is on my watchlist now. I am sure that a profit can be made, if this is bought in the next few weeks.

Slowly falling SP today despite FT100 going the other way

Assuming shares pre rights were a £1. Then after the 3 for 8 rights issue @ .56p. The shares should trade @ .88p. So I will leave these alone until I can purchase at say 85p. Then I would say they would be good value.

I think the RayMarine situation was unusual in the fact that shareholders did Ok despite warnings from The BOD of "little or no value", Look at JJB sports for an example of it going the other way.
