One thing I've learned trading shares. Nothing is a certainty. I've seen so many blindingly obvious buys on new information and the price drops. I have invested a fair it here, but only half of what I could choose to. I'll wait and see which way the tide is going Monday.

I'd actually say the chances of this opening say 30% down is pretty high sadly. However, I'll be holding until this is resolved.

So according to that, if gspc don't enter arbitration and stump up the cash then we could have a sellable asset worth around £200m in 13 days. Worth holding on for Imo.

They may have spent £65m, but if they are virtually bankrupt now none of that matters.

Is it possible for oilex to say to gspc keep your money but we'll take 100%? Gspc would probably think they could sell it higher?

Looks to me like the share price dropped because of the unknown factor. But partners already hovering anyway. They know now exactly why this failed and the new trial should support that.

I'd say going all the way back to those highs is unlikely until the trial is completed (i.e. no farm out etc before Christmas), but certainly this should be back at least to £2 imo.

I'd agree with this, there would be loads of legal things to go through with GSPC, as that is a publicly traded company in india, and the announcement has to be satisfactory in terms of handovers and monies outstanding (or maybe that is a separate battle for now).
