Has anyone with HL actually had their corporate action notification yet?

I've had the theoretical shares added to my account (pending payment), but I would love to take up at least 100% excess. I guess I will be given whatever they allow me. Presumably if say I asked for 400% of my current holding I would be taking up the excess that other HL customers are not?

Looking through the trades in the last couple of hours, yes there are some chunky sells but it's pretty much a wall of blue. Makes me think there will be more delayed sells popping up tomorrow?

The thing I find perplexing here, what were you all waiting for if not a deal like this?? Obviously there would be a mou before signing a contract, and this has to be one of the biggest in the country reputationally.

People are actually calling 25% a jump? Seriously? This was higher before on a lot less. I think all these negative people should just admit they called their timing wrong and buy tomorrow.

A lot of very negative people here. Are we all really supposed to believe that an (imminently going to start) mou of this magnitude is not even worth a 25% rise? This was considerably higher on considerably less...

Anyone know when the broker is likely to actually require payment if you take them? If they announce it tomorrow I mean, what would people think is the likely last possible day.?

@countingcards Fair enough. I've had two rights offers in my time but this will be the first open offer. It would be nice if Antos was in charge before Friday then...

For those curious you normally get an option at an open offer to sell part of it to fund the uptake of the rest. I.e. You don't need to put in any more money. Sure you lose out on super cheap shares, but it is an option to consider.

Correct. The ex open offer eligibility date is today.

What would be good is if Antos and peterhouse have done a deal. Peterhouse underwrite, then sell to Antos 1 6bn at a discount to market. Sounds like great deal to everyone.

Also, for those unsure about holding, I'd strongly urge you to read RKB s post. This is a connected and respected guy. And he said: "I still believe Antos will be on board soon and I still believe he will use BOU to RTO into one of his valuable companies and all existing shareholders will do well." Dyor research and that, definitely. But consider what he said.
