In terms of the process of an rto these things don't happen overnight, I think if they announced one tomorrow you'd still be looking at least 6 - 8 weeks for shareholder approval and paperwork. But in terms of share price reaction, that would happen much sooner once announced.

@pmac Mainly as its not carried on today. I wasn't actually following this much yesterday, what were some of the largest trades? If you had to shift 1.6bn you'd be expecting trades in the 50m to 100m range I'd think?

Thoughts on this 1.6bn please. I don't think they've started the process yet of clearing this? But we did have some great volume yesterday. Unless somehow they think it's going to be placed?? The longer they leave this the more expensive it's going to get for them...

A question for you all. They could have taken cash if they were not so sure about when it will all be settled, but they have taken shares instead. I don't know the long tedious history here, but I do believe the BOD believe something amazing is going to happen in the next few months. If there is one thing I know it's bods normally are quite good at acting in their own personal self interest.

So imo this is a very positive sign unlike anything that has happened in the last 8 years.

Isn't that missing the point though? He could've been even more fantastically wealthy! Like people saying below he could just sit on his hands, but he's not making anything from it at all at the moment right?
