If Boris does win it doesn't say anything about his competence as the PM - if he was competent he wouldn't be facing this vote - it merely says that the pool of electable Tories is about as deep as a puddle, which is largely the case because they are a bunch of opportunist backstabbers and charlatans that really have no ability to govern.

The puddle represents the depth of political ideology a Tory has, which doesn't amount to much more than "attack the poor, deport brown coloured folk and give me money".

Why is it Tory voters can't actually debate anything in good faith and always result to petty namecalling? It's always "remoaners", "woke capitalists", "people's vote" (whatever that means) or some other baiting buzzword fed by populist demigogs.

I don't have any love for Labour, but abolishing the monarchy shouldn't be a taboo subject. It's a perfectly reasonable political position to take.

Personally I think it's far more logical than believing in a family with a divine God-given right. We are a largely secular society, whether Tory voters want to believe it or not.

I simply meant that they both talk a load of rubbish. Musk is infinitely smarter than Trump, no doubt there, but he is still an idiots version of a genius.

Musk came from an extremely wealthy family of blood-diamond merchants and initially got lucky during the dot-com boom. He then was part of a financial website that got bought out by a much bigger company and rebranded as PayPal. Tesla was already a company well before Musk joined. Broadband satellites have been around for decades before Starlink. He revolutionized nothing.

SpaceX is arguably his best achievement, however it would be extremely stupid and naive to say he achieved it alone, considering the man has no background in rocket science. He had a good idea (reusable rockets at a vastly more compelling price point than anyone else was offering) and built a company full of incredible engineers that fulfilled that vision on the financial back of being extremely lucky from previous business ventures.

You really need to stop worshipping at the alter of the rich and open your ears to literally anything the man says. Because if you actually just listened to anything he said you would quickly realize he is an idiot. Much like Trump, now that I think of it.

We have an unelected head of state with billions of unearned secret wealth hiding it from the public. The Queen also recently sold massive chunks of land around the country to license offshore wind farms to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds. This is the countries land that the Crown has directly profited from.

It's an arcane, bewildering and completely immoral racket. Anyone with any sense of rational thought or dignity should surely appreciate that the very concept of a "divine" Royal family denoted by God, flies in the face of democracy, science, logic and decency.

It's funny however every time I visit Germany, Spain, Portugal, France etc. on holiday there are always a wealth of amazing fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses etc. in every super market. But if you want that here you have to visit a Waitrose and remortgage the house.
