Not suggesting that this will lead to the same scenario, but there have been several occasions, just in the past 12 months, where a company has de-listed and gone private/planned to go private.

Superdry and Destiny Pharma are two, but I forget the names of a few others that I remember following in the past as well. In case anyone wanted to research this angle, review historical RNS's and see what happened in those cases.

Also agree with your point, Stupmy. Confirmation bias is hard to overcome, even for experienced investors and traders.

While I think I am much improved on that particular challenge, I certainly have to fight it not infrequently, even in the present time.

IMO, broker ratings should only be used as a potential steer on how the market might react (investor sentiment on their publications etc) - for short term trading only, at best.

Anecdotally, they have, on more than one occasion, been useful to help exit positions...after they have given a bullish declaration. Likewise the reverse.

A close below that 405p-ish level today and I think 370's will be nailed on. The chart looks horrible.

A bit surprised it has continued to fall so consistently, so close to results, but hopefully it will not turn out to be a case of someone knowing something.

When I saw the RNS headline first thing, I initially wondered if it was Stephen himself who was leaving.

Yes, it appears to be yet another disappointing and unsuccessful hire, although who knows if anyone can successfully take the business to profitability.

At some point, the buck has to stop with Stephen, to my mind. Plenty have come on board and been unable to achieve these aims, including that Tory politician, lol.

Let's see if silver can hit 37-ish USD first, before we look further ahead. A pull back in the metals is likely fairly soon, IMO, although I think it will be a 'healthy' retrace, before pushing on up again.

True, but that nice bowl formation was taking shape from late morning onwards.

If we can close above 405p-ish tomorrow and the following day, then tentatively we might have put in a bottom IMO.

Not suggesting that the SP is frothy, because as long as they are within guidance, IMO we are still a good deal short of fair value, taking everything into consideration, but generally a pull back is not uncommon after price action like this in the preceding weeks.

I decided that enough was enough, so have been unloading my remaining position the past couple of days, and am now fully out.

I am sure this will offer some trading opportunities again at some point, but as a credible investment, well, under this leadership, it would be one of the bigger surprises in my life. Anything is possible of course.

Generally I give my investments a lot of time to hopefully come good.

This was one (but not the first) where that loyalty and patience was misplaced. I gave Stephen around eight years in total, give or take, far longer than was either deserved, or justified, to my mind.

An especially unwise decision on my part, given that many of the missteps made by Stephen were entirely avoidable. Some, downright illogical.

Covered in some detail by several posters, including me, spanning some time, so I will not list them again.

I finally accepted the conclusion that in truth I had come to a while ago, which is that, in my opinion, in the unlikely event that he ever actually gets the products, and therefore the business, to reasonable and reliable levels of profitability, he will still not do right by shareholders.

I base this opinion on his actions over the past couple of years in particular. But to be clear, it is an opinion.

None of which is a suggestion for anyone else to buy or sell. Simply my thoughts and the reasons for this decision.

I think there should be strong border controls, a one-tier justice system, state oversight of major engineering projects, including the maintenance of crucial existing infrastructure (such as water etc) and other obvious things, such as emergency services and environmental waste management. Not much else from the public purse.

Given the state of our finances, sooner or later, a lot of changes are going to take place. Either in a fairly controlled manner, or quite the opposite.

Decades of financial mismanagement, including public spending on countless unnecessaries, is the fundamental reason for this reality.

But that is socialism for you.

Well, I tend to apply an informal discount to the parameters of fundamentals in a market like this one, with governments like we have had for a few years, on top.

Hopefully resulting in more upside potential with this cautious approach.

Anyway, for the time being, bearish indices-wide sentiment means that patience is going to be required. For those looking to trade this, as well as for long term investors.

As I said before, I remain open to returning this to the investment basket, if I am still here come the next update, should that update show they have met current guidance.

Which the market IMO does not currently think is going to hit.

Final time I will mention this: the lack of proper inside buying is the main reason for this degree of SP slide. I really believe that. But it is what it is. GLA.

At least it looks like they are taking proactive steps. Whether that will be enough at this stage and with those issues (many of which appear out of their control, in fairness), time will tell.

But I agree with the other poster, good to see them disclosing so much to the market, which is not always a given, especially on AIM, IMO.

I suspect Brett Blundy conducted more research than any of us here did, before taking that not insignificant position in this name.

There will never be a shortage of competition for any company, in any sector.

The next update will be important for the BOD, as much as wider shareholders IMO. They will know their jobs might depend on it, especially with so little inside buying after the last update and seemingly doing little to arrest the general slide in the SP (which matters, to a point).

But nothing has really changed recently, apart from the wider markets looking nervous.

Depends on your time frame and position size, and risk appetite of course, but as has been said before, this is cheap simply on fundamentals now. Could get cheaper of course. I will continue to hold and take a view nearer Xmas. GLA.

I think you did not read my earlier post fully. I am familiar with this name, insofar as having read plenty of their RNS's, not just recently, but probably going back at least 4 or 5 years. Seen several of the jam tomorrow presentations too, in this same period.

I will listen to the recent presentation when I get a chance and I did say (in so many words) that perhaps this time is different. I will keep an open mind. And look for the RNS that outlines significant inside buys to underpin this confidence in the direction of travel. GLA.
