Pretty sure I have commented on this chat board before. Never been a shareholder here, but in plenty of similar types to this one.

I will listen to it and fair enough, perhaps that explains the movement today.

Surprised that it would have such a significant impact, given the history of the company and all the jam tomorrow stuff (which I have followed on and off over the years) - but nevertheless, that could explain it and so happy to stand corrected.

Yeah, but the same could be said for lots of these types of names, insofar as 90%-plus drops from ATH's, and a belief from some shareholders that their outfits are more advanced than ever and worth multiples of the current SP, etc.

Look, you may be right (I have looked over recent RNS's here and do not think the evidence to support your bullish thesis is that compelling) - but that is neither here nor there.

Say you are right, for the sake of argument...a 70% one day rise and no acknowledgement from the company as to whether or not they know of any reason for the SP movement, is not good form, to my mind.

And if we see an RNS tomorrow, or in a couple of days, that says a deal has been reached, or some other significant, material news, then how would that not give a particular impression of something suspicious?

Anyway, like I said, good luck to you and your fellow shareholders. Hope it is a positive outcome.

And this is AIM, so even if something was irregular, it's not like anything will come of it, lol.

Either to explain this rise, or one of those 'no knowledge of the reason for this rise' type of speeding ticket either.

I guess it is exciting for holders and good luck to you - but surely it is either a P&D, or clear inside knowledge being leaked.

In whatever scenario, it is a poor show on the BOD to not comment on such SP activity as this seen today, IMO.

It was much higher at the time of my post. 20's would be oversold.

I actually think we are more of a bid target, now we have got the results out of the way, than before they published them.

And a (very) small part of me wonders if this price action might be leading up to such an event. Brown Group type thing.

I share the same bearish (short term) sentiment that a few posters and fellow holders have aired here of late, but that post is uncalled for - unless you have something concrete to substantiate it, IMO.

Yep. In simple financial terms, tobacco is a net positive. And has been for many years now, I think.

And I doubt that pressure group factors in the cost savings to the NHS of those tobacco smokers who die younger.

To be clear, I am only passing comment on the financials here. Not advocating smoking, lol.

But I do absolutely advocate freedom of choice for adults, which is of supreme importance to those of us who dislike the idea of de facto slavery.

It is not even oversold on the RSI at the time of print. Bang on 'neutral'.

Still, things can change quickly. See where we are in a few weeks. Hopefully the worm will have turned by then :) GLA.

The RSI is bearish too. For those who do not know and might be interested, it is currently around 43.

Which might infer we have further to fall. Technicals do not always play out though, and such things can spin on a dime, but I do think we are going lower for now.

Should we see 350's or lower on no company-specific news, I will be taking a few more, personally.

Feels like it wants to retest the year lows, IMO.

Will be a buyer at that point, should it come to pass, for the reasons I have mentioned previously (and which remain unchanged).

Lots of attractive names today, but want to keep back plenty of dry powder, especially with so many key macro and micro economic and political events in the coming weeks. Here and across the Pond. GLA.

Another way to look at it: why would anyone buy on this news?

An asset sale of some sort, outlining cold, hard cash in an RNS, or a free-carry JV, is IMO the only thing that will see buyers in any volume in this name now.

Given historic performance.

On top of a nervous, fairly risk-off market, where even proven, quality names are getting sold down a bit, at the time of print.

But for those of you who remain bullish on all of the above, well, you have further opportunity to buy more, should you so wish. GLA.

It can be, certainly.

But right now, the break is confirmed IMO so the sale might only be the first one, to use your analogy.

The lingering Budget can only explain this weakness to a certain degree I think.

A good update should drive this one back up by at least 10-15% quickly from the current price IMO, but the current trend is pretty clear.

Can you see a wedge pattern forming here, Stupmy? I think I can, but I do not trust my eyes on this sort of stuff yet :)

Just referring to the short term. No assumptions either way beyond that. Principally no view before the update.

My first ever purchase here was over 18 quid. Because I knew then that something was wrong with the financial system and was confident that the PM space would offer a reasonable hedge if I was right.

When you are so early (as I was), then it is the same as being wrong, lol.

So, I have ended up with a considerably larger position here than was/is sensible. Now averaging about 740-odd, albeit having made a number of profitable side pot trades along the way.

Nowhere near as successful as many other trades in different names though - and of course, success can only be counted once you have sold. So the jury is still out on my main holding here.

All being well, I will get the chance to slice some of these to re-balance a bit, but 8 quid is not my exit target price.

Subject to the obvious caveats, I am not planning on fully exiting here for a long time yet, but I have been in the markets for long enough to know never to count chickens. GLA.

That is absolutely correct - gold is only costing more because of the declining fiat currencies.

Which is why it is a fairly good hedge in these times, IMO.

As to FRES in particular, well, if the next update is not a disappointment (for a change, lol) and silver rises to a level that the chart suggests that it might, then I think selling now might be a mistake.

But to each their own and I can see the temptation to cash in at least some profits from here, especially if you have an average of five quid or so.

This one does have form for going on pretty special runs though. In both directions, lol.

Rightly or wrongly, I am going to continue to sit on my hands and wait for 8 quid before taking a view on a potential slice. GLA.

It will not take many shares off the market, but even so, for those of us who consider the current SP to be oversold, this is a nice little extra.

Sounds like it could be a BOD at almost any AIM company, unfortunately.

IMO, that is probably the biggest red flag, but like you say, if they can get a few more deals over the line (in the next couple of months really, given that they cannot leave funding to the last minute), then it could yet become a winner from the current SP level.

That is kind of the impression that I have gained too, in truth.

I guess if they actually start to deliver, then the upside could be explosive - but their track record from what I can see (like so many AIM tiddlers) is far from impressive.

Anyway, will continue to watch with a degree of interest, but not tempted at this point to take any position. GLA.

If this stuff is going to generate money for the company, then that is all that matters, from a shareholder perspective.

How long is the cash runway now? The SP seems to have dropped considerably below the last raise price.

Have looked in here now and again, but something just does not seem quite right to me.

Tough market for these micro caps does not help either.

But I can also see why it could appeal as a speculative investment. One or two large deals that put the company into a position where fund raises are a thing of the past, and then you should see some material gains in the SP.

But the same can be said for lots of AIM tiddlers, so it comes down to whether or not this is one of the diamonds in the rough.
