I have soled recently, because the sp stalled and I was not prepared to leave my cash, in such a risky investment.

Then recently this idea came in to my mind: Given the massive polarization of geopolitics, the west and brics, Russia and USA etc. Normal channel of communication have ceased to function properly and to some extent have been substituted by social media. This is valid not only for Mr. John but also for high representative of Gov. and decision making people.

IMO the war in Ukraine has become a channel of communication between the West and Russia. This is a perverse dynamic which may prolong the war, beyond its useful purpose.

Any relationship need a channel of communication, if there was no Ukraine war, Russia/China and USA would just communicate with sanctions in a autistic manner. With the help of social media, because of the war the protagonist of this very sorrow event have the opportunity to enter center stage and be followed worldwide by international audience, which is the best way to put their ego, on a orgasmic level.

Will they abandon this addiction for peace?! When?

The fact that Ukraine will not be part of NATO should be a good starting point for negotiation.

Trump, was for kicking out even some European Countries from Nato, I can't see such a change of hart.

IMO there is more upside from FXPO, this is a price that can double short terms, with any concrete agreement to start talks of peace negotiation.

Iron ore price looks solid going forward, Chinese need to expand and so far energy prices are down, with still good profits to be made.

I am still going for a 250p fair value for FXPO on permanent cease fire.

One action that has quite impressed me, is how Trump behaved at recent Paris gendering.

Trump is a pacifist, not only because it is in the interest of US deep states and electorate, but also because is the way he is and I like him for that. I am quite sure he will manage to end hostility in Europe, not so sure about the middle east because there its more complicate.

In the end all this wars have an economic reason, the name of the game is to spend less money in weapons to destroy, in order to make more money to rebuild and in the process, borrow/lend money, to support the madness of a financial system, based on inters rate and debt.

US and most West is very much unable to repay what they borrow, the only game is to lend more. Some western countries paly this spy games thinking that the rest of the world is not aware of what is going on. But thankfully more and more their madness has been exposed for everyone realization.

The ultimate goal for Putin thought, is to have a political win back at home, with Ukraine not becoming part of NATO and some recognition of national identity, for the Russian speaking language population, from the occupied regions. Once Trump will be president of US, IMO it will be sufficient a clear statement to guarantee that Ukraine will never be part of NATO, to kick start peace negotiation. I don't think Trump can make this statement with geriatric in the way.

For Zelensky, he is all out to shouting for help, because he knows he has mismanaged badly Ukraine, its territory and divers ethnicity. Hopefully when he will realize that military aid can not go on for ever, he will say sorry, bend over and close his eyes.

I wouldn't read too much in what Trump said or Zelensky said.

They both know that at one point, they will have to sit down with the Russians and ask to end the war.

Right now the decision making process toward peace is not in sync, due to many players involved with different interests.

I might say so because I have an invested interest, but also recent development in the middle east, might shift the focus of attention of our leaders, toward another playfield where to revenge their anger from their childhood traumas.

After recent military postures I suppose next stage is lots of negotiations going on behind the scenes and not for a peace deal. I hear that the Russian and USA are talking to resolve the situation in Syria, which is a positive for everybody. Time will tell.
