RE: CL17 Ltd26 Oct 2020 12:19
As someone once said (might even have been you Easy) the only 'true value' here is not 'knowing' what the true value is. As long as enough people remain interested in a 'potential' value here then it can be traded on ebbs and flows of sentiment (albeit extremely riskily), regardless of what truth there is behind the assessment that it does have value...or not. Even a highly qualified financial person would have difficulty making head or tail of CLP and its subsidiaries and would be able to assess whether there is any real value.
One can make a judgement that the low share price reflects the fact that there are more that think there is little or no value, compared to the number that think there is, truly or spuriously. For trading the range 0.2 to 0.3 is no different to 0.6 to 0.9 or 0.8 to 1.2p, although the spread is generally too wide to give this a second glance right now.
My platform is HL and this share remains suspended on there so I couldn't even put in a buy order if I wanted, but as I said the other day, anything 0.18 to 0.2 might tempt me, as would some more positive news.
