OSD - like most things, it’s wrong to generalise about AIM.
There are some good, steady companies there, which consistently grow & make a profit. My largest holding was with H&T, where I’ve more than doubled my money thanks to it recently receiving a takeover bid. Plus I’ve enjoyed a 4 - 5% yield along the way.
But there’s also a disproportionately large amount of jam tomorrow, CEO lifestyle dross in the index. And however much fun it might be to some “riding that wave”, for many it’ll end in tears.
As to which camp IMM falls into, the jury’s still out. I remain a holder (though it’s a fairly small part of the p/f. But increasingly, I’m thinking this may well end up being dead money, given Tim’s appalling track record - delivering false promises, placings & hugely detrimental Lanstead financing “deals”.
