It seems only news of a sale / part-sale will do that.

Kaeren - it's some time ago we were told the compressor was on US soil.

So "China's rare earth export sudden changes" have nothing to do with it.

Normally Hex has been only too keen to tweet pretty much any update news promptly. So why not with the compressor, when that's suppposedly the final piece of the production jigsaw?

So basically, you were privileged enough to “have sight of comms” from a “reliable source” who told you what you already knew.

I can fully see why you posted that now.

Kaeren - if they know what's good for them & don't want to end up behind bars, Investor Relations would never divulge any market-sensitive info.

So either your "reliable source" isn't quite so reliable after all. Or that info isn't market-sensitive. In which case it doesn't tell us anything new.

J.kemp - why not just worry about your own holding (assuming you even have one currently) and let others worry about theirs?

As I said before, your posts regularly flip flop from positive to negative, so I doubt anyone takes your latest warnings & advice very seriously anyway.

Nobody said anything about a deal early in the new year. Not even Tim, who has - perhaps learning from his previous mistake - now failed to put any timescale on it.

Assuming you even believe a word Tim says these days.

Span - I agree. LSE is fast becoming unusable with all the shy te they throw at us.

86KB - the SP drop has NOTNING to do with "scaremongering and lack of patience".

And EVERYTHING to do with Tim not delivering on a repeat firm commitment.

More investors than before simply don't trust him now. And they tend to vote with their feet, dragging the SP ever lower.

Good luck to Popeye & others who proudly told us they'd added - often at much higher prices than this morning's. What WERE you thinking of? It was pretty darn obvious the SP was going to react badly to that latest RNS and would continue to drift on the back of no likely further news for some time.

Of course Hex too had its bubbling cauldron video. Again when Minchin was head of comms. And again, leading us up the garden path. Perhaps he enjoyed being an early cinematic AI adopter!?

Yup. TBH I’m pleasantly surprised at how little drift there’s been.

Suggests investors still believe in the bigger picture and are confident this will outweigh any minor roadbumps along the way.

All of which is fine, providing a) slippage doesn’t become the story & b) we’re kept equally updated through good times & bad.

Random - agreed. Of course first production has slipped. It was originally slated for summer & here we are still waiting in December.

Ultimately whether this matters to LTHs is debatable, assuming things don’t drag on for another few months.

But I’d say the lack of comms when things don’t mirror guidance IS a concern. Particularly when pointless tweets are often forthcoming, even sometimes when there was really very little worth updating us on.

Beats me why ANYONE would buy, given the current direction of travel & likely lack of any further positive news in 2025.

And even if they did buy, why post it? Seems a pretty naff thing to announce to the world.

I hope - as a fellow (small) holder - that they deliver you from evil. But I fear it’ll take more than a few prayers & thunderings from the pulpit for IMM to come up trumps in the way you believe it should.

OSD - I got a First from one of the UK's most prestigious universities. And not like now when they hand them out to half the intake either.

Jenforluck - agreed. And there may well still be a decent deal in the making here.

But I'm just sick of people saying nothing's changed. Or that Monday's RNS was highly positive. Or that Tim said X so it must be true, when you just have to look at the facts to see it's utter nonsense.

Span - Yup. You can normally tell when someone's lost the argument, as they resort to insults.

Admittedly I wasn't terribly complimentary myself about the Panto Dame's analytical skills. But at least I didn't stoop as low as saying "Dame is a moron".

OSD - it doesn't take a brain surgeon or indeed a PhD in psychology to read between the lines with Tim.

I deal in facts. And the fact is he has a decades long track record of non-delivery (other than his own highly over-inflated salary, bonus & option package of course).

If there's no deal by the AGM, I'd be amazed if investors didn't vote him out. Unless they're all like Dame of course.

As has just been written on the ADVFN board:

"Ask Tim what happened at Alizyme, where he was FD then CEO? Three drugs in development, he didn't even get one to market and it went into administration. Reassuring shareholders right up until the end."

Tim has decades of form in giving reassuring interviews. Just a shame his skillset's never - to date - delivered on what he promised.

As the song goes, sadly it seems "There is nothing like a Dame, nothing, nothing like a Dame" for getting the total wrong end of the stick.
