But consistent & informative comms ARE vital to investor confidence.

Far better to acknowledge any minor delays/setbacks & to explain why they occurred and what's being done to overcome them. Instead, Hex has recently adopted more of a sweeping under the carpet policy, imply their first production timeframe hasn't shifted, when it clearly has.

For the record, I’ve posted balanced views on Hex and remain a very positive holder. But when I think their comms are lacking or even misleading, I’m not afraid to say so. Why on earth wouldn’t I?

Span - that wasn't my point. And I HAVE read the article.

What I was saying is that the last part of Hex's latest tweet is meaningless and should never have been written. Production is not "on track". It has been delayed. That is simply a fact. I'm not saying it's that material (unless it keeps happening). but to imply the original timing has been stuck to is just plain wrong.

As for "near term", that's an ambiguous choice of words which tells us nothing we haven't already been told. So why bother repeating it again this morning in a tweet?

a) It's not on track - on track would have been summer. NOT December or later

b) "Near term" could mean anything

if you're going to tweet, preferably wait until you've something new & useful to say. Otherwise, just restrict it to news of their attendance at the H-NAT World Summit.

Hex's comms used to be great. But AFAIC they've lost their touch of late.

Anyone daft enough to believe there's a single thing in those calls (assuming they ever happened) that's not already in the public domain needs their heads examining. Indeed, it would be illegal if Tim or Lisa were to divulge ANY market-sensitive information selectively.

So presumably VikR isn't divulging the contents either because they don't exist or they simply add nothing.

This latest RNS states (maybe restates?): "Rudyard field can support multiple production wells and has potential to generate net revenue of $115 - $220 million over a 12.5 year life of field".

Have those figures always been the ones bandied around? They actually sound quite low to me, given the potential for around 20 wells up & running within, say the next 2-3 years. I thought each well was capable of averaging c$4m revenue pa. So on that basis, how do we "only" get to "net revenue of $115 - $220 million over a 12.5 year life of field"?

Am I missing something?

As I’ve consistently stated, I remain a smallish holder but have no intention of adding. So you can stop setting your morning alarm for a TR-1!

3LB - you carry on championing Trump if you want to lose absolutely all credibility with me.

Of course tariffs bring in dosh for the State short term. But they put up prices, thus slowing economic growth & boosting inflation.

If tariffs actually led to tax drops for the little people, that would at least offset some of the increased cost of living they cause. But Trump prefers to line the pockets of the rich (notably himself) at the expense of the less privileged.

If you truly believe tariffs have little effect on the world economy, try looking back to April's global stock market charts when Trump first announced them. Only reason things have settled down a bit again since is because he saw the horrendous impact they were having on financial markets & rowed back.

I had you down as an intelligent chap, but if you truly support Trump & his policies, I fear you're not.
