Also, it's not illogical to be deeply distrustful of Tim whilst still holding a position. At the end of the day, NOBODY (except Tim & the Board) knows how close any deal is. The fact that Tim has repeatedly & unequivocally stated this year suggests something might actually happen this time. The fact he's repeatedly issued dodgy guidance in the past suggests it might not.

On that basis, anyone with an existing holding (myself included) might well hedge their bets - hanging onto what they've got for now, without adding to the risk by buying any further.

Alexsnowdenn - if PIs don't trust Tim, why on earth would picking up the phone to him resolve anything?

IHNC - humour bypass apart, I agree with your comment on prodiuction timing. Compressor ETA some (any) time in Nov, then approx two weeks min. thereafter.

I think the reason peeps aren't overwhelmingly positive in all cases is because there isn't much significant news imminent (i.e. for a week or two). Other than, potentially, an offtake RNS which would likely give the SP a boost.

J.kemp - I imagine change would come in the form of Tim’s P45 if no significant deal is struck within the next two months.

As you correctly point out, there’ve been countless empty promises and instances of inaccurate guidance in the past here. Beggars belief all these posters claiming to own millions of shares & repeatedly adding, when Tim’s track record is so dodgy.

Whilst I continue to hold, I regard it as casino chips rather than any racing certainty.

Why protect something before knowing its efficacy & whether it has any commercial potential?

Roger - agreed. Either scenario is possible.

But if IMM wants to maximise its value, it would want an SP-boosting deal announcement out as early as possible so Lanstead paid more in the final months. Regardless of whether any deal greatly outweighed the extra amount they’d get from Lanstead. Every little helps as they say.

If IMM was purely focused on the short term SP, they'd have gone all out for a deal announcement well before Lanstead's finance agreement ends.

That way, they'd get more from Lanstead in the remaining months.

The fact this hasn't happened so far suggests it's either taking longer than hoped to sew up any final deal. Or that no-one's bitten.
