It was good to get clarification from CyanConnode on the transaction, before the weekend.

..... that has been agreed with IntelliSmart and CyanConnode, was explained in some detail by John Cronin, during the Investor Meet presentation.

There was, I seem to remember a few years ago now, another " Framework Agreement " that Cyan had originally, with another India company, I think prior to the aquisition of Connode, that was in place but never really fully implemented.

As the RDSS Smart Meter Programme progresses and hopefully CyanConnode's Tier 1 Partners are successful within the RDSS, I can see hopefully, more Strategic Framework Agreements being signed up to and implemented, between CyanConnode and Tier 1 Partners, to help secure a supply chain for the ongoing smart meter programme.

" This is the second order received under the strategic framework agreement ( Agreement ) for 3 million modules, which was signed in February 2023. Todate, the total number of modules ordered, under this Agreement, has reached 900,000."

Steady progress is being made, with the India Smart Meter programme and with the steady adoption of CyanConnode's Omnimesh solutions, within that programme.

It was good to hear John Cronin's and CyanConnode's opinion on the Zeus report about the " ..... procurement of 250 million smart meters by 2025 ...... " and what it actually means for the installation of the smart meter programme in India, which it would seem, could take between 8/10 years to achieve/complete.

But as always, time will tell. But it was good to get CyanConnode's perspective/view point, on the various terminologies used.

Good afternoon all,

It is always good to hear that some States in India have awarded contracts, for successful tender applicants/consortia. But there are 4 States in India that are still under " starters orders," so-to-speak, which are mentioned in the " Statistical highlights " section of the report, that have a significant number of smart meters at the Sanctioned stage.

From the report:-

" Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Kerala are important States, where Award of contracts for smart meters has yet to begin. Each of these four States has been Sanctioned a significant number of smart meters - ranging from 1.32 crore in Kerala to 3 crore in Tamil Nadu."

The four States mentioned from the original list of 15 States, that are Sanctioned, but yet to have any contracts Awarded are:-

- Tamil Nadu - 3,00,00,000 ( 30,000,000 )

- West Bengal - 2,07,17,969 ( 20,717,969 )

- Rajasthan - 1,42,74,956 ( 14,274,956 )

- Kerala - 1,32,89,361 ( 13,289,361 )

So, some substantial contract/tender awards should be due at some stage in the near future. But maybe of smaller/manageable " Packages," than the overall numbers mentioned.

But " .... smaller/manageable ..... ", is good. And " regular " would be appreciated.
