Good news that progress has been made that should accerate the implimentation of the 11.2m tender. Not sure what implications this ruling has for MonteCarlo, in the long run.

That is exactly right. Which is why I did not mention smart meters in my earlier posts and posted the WBSEDCL/Landis&Gyr report which confirms that Landis&Gyr were installing digital meters from 2009.

Whether or not Landis&Gyr will eventually enter the RDSS roll-out, with an acceptable solution, is yet to be confirmed.

Thank you for some recent information on WBSEDCL.

In my earlier post I pointed out that WBSEDCL had invested quite heavily since 2009, via Landis&Gyr, in electric meters, who for what ever reason do not seem to be involved with the RDSS roll-out, as L&G are not, at the moment, included on the REC Empanelment List.

But all interesting information.

...... over recent years, has been a strong-hold for Landis&Gyr, for the installation of electricity meters, having installed millions of electricity meters, since 2009.

It is unclear what solution was used during this period, although I believe that Landis&Gyr have an RF solution of their own.

Although they are not currently on the REC Empanelment list, as yet.

As we have come to expect, there is no value put on this mornings order. But the RNS does indicate that " In addition to the modules, the order includes Advanced Metring Infrastructure ( AMI ), Standards-Based Hardware, Services, Omnimesh Head-End Software, a Perpetual Licence and an Annual Maintenance Contract."

I seem to remember John Cronin mentioning during the Investor Meet Presentation, that the Prime Bidder needed to allow between $80 to $100 per meter, per project, which makes this particular project worth overall, between $40m and $50m.

The value to CyanConnode is circa $16 per meter, from what we can gather from various sources, depending on any discount structure/the terrain in which the meters are being installed/the number of Gateways needed/etc., which puts the overall contract value to CyanConnode at circa $8m, over a 10 year project cycle.

It is difficult, quite rightly so in my opinion, to nail down the exact contract price for CyanConnode, but we will know that in due course, as the contract revenues are confirmed during the period of the contract or when CyanConnode are comfortable releasing the information.

But the figures that I have quoted, are guestimates from information that is already available.

I agree tonyj, the original Strategic Framework Agreement with IntelliSmart will indeed hopefully, need to be extended as you suggested.

I also mentioned recently that there may need to be more of these " Strategic Framework Agreements " in place, with other CyanConnode Partners, to secure the " Supply Chain " for future Smart Meter Projects and Partnerships.

Looks like we may be entering a busy period, on the run-up to the end of the tear. Let us hope so.

As todays order confirms, the order from IntelliSmart further validates the CyanConnode technology with a substantial order size, that started to increase in quantity and value over the last 2/3 years.

As I understand it, from the CyanConnode RNS, the transaction involving Daid Johns-Powell, was not a " Buy " or a "Sell " or an " Unknown " and David still retains a share-holding, at this time, " ...... representing approximately 6.12% of the Company's total voting rights, "

I do not know why initially, LSE dId not record it, as what it is. A Share Transfer.
