Within the report, CyanConnode confirms the involved 10 states within CyanConnode's " milestones " were installations in Assam, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

A significant and timely reminder, I might suggest, at this particularly interesting time in CyanConnode's development, of the successfull installations that CyanConnode has achieved in India, over the years.

What would really be a significant " milestone " for me, in my CyanConnode investment, would be if CyanConnode were to be considered for an AMISP roll, within the smart meter contract Awards for TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu, at some stage.

Do I think it is possible, certainly. In time. But other AMISP contracts would be appreciated, also. Along with other potential smart meter contracts, that are waiting to be Awarded.

But we will have to wait and see on those possible outcomes, as always.

Encouragingly significant, I might suggest, that the SKOCH Gold Award for TANGEDCO, has now been published on the CyanConnode page of x.com.

And hopefully, it bodes well for the future TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu 30,000,000 smart meter tender(s), that have already been Sanctioned for TANGEDCO, but are waiting to be Awarded.

Interesting times ahead, I feel, with a significant number of multi-million/sub-million smart meter contracts yet to be Awarded.

Certainly, CyanConnode has developed substantially, since Mysore ( which was IPv4, I believe ) and progressing with IPv6 with Indore. And now CyanConnode have a range of RF products that are stand-alone RF products, or ones that can be compatible with other solutions.

And now CyanConnode have progressed to being an AMISP. It just gets better and better.

So the Company has come a long way, over the last few years. In my opinion, of course. As I am sure you and some others, will agree.

You are both welcome and glad you found it of interest. The confirmation of the actual award Vas, for TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu, was published I believe, on July 28th, 2024. As CyanConnode have been working with TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu for some years now and there was no mention of CyanConnode's involvement in the report, from what I can see, CyanConnode probably decided to take a low key approach, leaving TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu to take centre stage.

Also, TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu may not have given their permission for CyanConnode to include it in a CyanConnode RNS, until now.

But a very significant award, for TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu, especially with having a CyanConnode connection.

Yes Vas, the link included within the RNS, does go on to reveal an interesting scenario, for the potential further development of smart metering within TANGEDCO/Tamil Nadu. As I have mentioned before, the first overall opportunity for smart meters in Tamil Nadu some years ago, for Cyan, as it was known then, which ended up being " Lodged ", was for 18m smart meters. Today the overall opportunity is for 30m smart meters. But not all will be RF, as we are aware.

Apparently, the definition of an Indian Summer is a " ..... pleasant spell of weather that happens in October and November ".

Another interesting passage from multibaggers post on Saturday, contains some information on a possible expansion of the present RDSS roll-out:-

" I guess even if a partial sale is completed, we may not get to know who the stategic partner is, given the competitive nature of the RDSS contracts and NDA clauses. I also hear that the RDSS roll-out may be expanded from 250m to about 330m due to increased home, flats and commercial constructions, since the initial plan was envisaged - so the market is getting bigger and we are at the right place, at the right time, with our AMISP status. IntelliSmart has contracts for about 18.91m smart meters under RDSS, so far."

So infrastructure companies and housing/property developers, may also be part of the smart meter expansion.

The number of Sanctioned smart meters are the same as previous report, as is the number of Awarded smart meters. The July 2024 installation figure ( Achievement ) ended up at 332,377, with the total installation figure ( Cumulative Achievement ) totalling 12,778,386.

There some multi-million smart meter contracts yet to be Awarded in Kerala, Punjab, 3 in Rajasthan and also Tamil Nadu.

And there are also several contracts that come in under the million smart meter mark, but are still significantly in the multiple hundreds of thousands.

I remembered that Macquarie were mentioned in a CyanConnode presentation a few years ago and luckily found out the presentation, under the heading of " New revenue models to be taken up " - and specifically mentioned under the second bullet point - " World Bank ( and IFC ), DEG/KFW, FMO and private entities such as Macquarie, Eversource and infra funds are keen to co-invest." You can find it on page 18.

An interesting perspective was given on the " ..... media speculation ...... " earlier this week, by multibagger, on ADVFN, posted at 07:35 this morning, which may be of interest and worth a read.

An interesting opinion is the possible valuation of CyanConnode India, should the " .... media speculation ....... " become a reality.

A paragraph from multibaggers post this morning:-

" I had asked some contacts to do such a calculation and was told that ( without specific/detailed figures being available obviously ) a heavily caviated/best guess could be in the region of about $90-$100m for the Indian CyanConnode alone. Given the position we hold in India and the potential going forward, this seems to be a very plausible figure, IMHO ".

But an interesting read overall, I feel.

You may remember that John Cronin, when he first came to Cyan(Connode), said that he thought that Cyan would be worth $200m one day, in his opinion, but he gave no time-scales.

$200m is approximately £156,176,800 at todays exchange rate, which in turn equates to approximately 52p per share, with circa 299,080,000 shares in issue, at the moment, if my calculations are correct. So we may be a little nearer, by the end of possible negotiations, which we understand are not certain.

So we will have to see how we are progressing to achieving John's original thoughts, all those years ago.

And it will also depend on who else may come to the table. I hope they are forming an orderly queue.
