....... meeting went very well and it was especially good to meet Bjorn Lindblom again, it has been a few years since we first met at an Investor Presentation, in London. All the other Main Board Members were present and contributed to an encouraging AGM.

There were also some share-holders there, that I had met before and we put the world to rights, as you do.

But I am sure that the highlights will be covered in a Presentation, shortly.

...... purchases Connode 100%, transforming into CyanConnode. Who then develope CyanConnode India, who is 100% owned by CyanConnode. Who then set-up DigiSmart as an AMISP, who is also 100% owned by CyanConnode.

Not bad for a " ... tiddler ..... " from Cambridge. And the best is yet to come.

" The UK Smart Metering Programme has been going through various stages, for many years now, with CyanConnode's involvement within that rollout expected to be towards the end of the programme.

" There was a report out recently that stated that the UK@s smart meter rollout was " ...... lagging ..... " behind our European counterparts.

" From a CyanConnode perspective, can you give any details of progress with the UK Smart Metering rollout, so far and are CyanConnode likely to be directly involved in the rollout?"

Answer:-

" We have been involved in the UK Smart Metering rollout since the beginning of the SMETS2 rollout. We provide just the software and have very little to do with the actual installations etc.. This is all handled by VMO2 ( previously Telefonica ). Our customer is Toshiba, who we supply the software to. They in turn provide it to VMO2. We've always believed that we will see the majority of installations of mesh at the back end of the installations as the installers are focusing on easier to reach areas. Also, for a mesh to form, than one mesh enabled hub would need to be within an area, so as more are deployed, we expect more to connect."

This has been known for some time, that CyanConnode's involvement in the UK Smart Metering Programme, would be towards the end of the rollout. Which is when we will see the revenue contribution increase, from this particular contract. In my opinion.

Thank you for the Bihar report, it was appreciated and very interesting. It gives a detailed journey from early 2018, through to 2024, from the Simple Pre-Paid Meter through to Smart Meters with Pre-Paid Functionality.

So a six year journey.

You are welcome Vas, re IntelliSmart and the gas sector.

If I might add a little contribution to the " .... subcontractor awards ..... " business, or lack of them at the moment, as I understand it. A utliity will put out a tender for smart meters, that will then go out to AMISP's to tender via various consortiums. When an AMISP wins a tender, they then have to inform the winners in the winning consortium and also the losses in the other consortia's.

And then all the " ..... i's have to be dotted and the t's have to be crossed .... " and the general finer details of the delivery agreed, before the contractural details are made public, via the various companies, ss the way I understand it.

So at the moment, we understand there are circa 117.68 million smart meters that have been Awarded, with circa 13 million smart meters that have already been installed. Which leaves a substantial number of smart meters, that have yet to be made public, when the winning consortia is informed and the final details/timelines agreed.

Good morning all,

Over the last 12 months the number of Sanctioned smart meters has reduced by circa 7 million. The number of Awarded smart meters has increased by circa 38 million. And the number of Installed smart meters overall has increased by circa 6 million.

So progress is being made overall, with the RDSS Indian Smart Meter Program and with a national project of this size, there are always hurdles to over-come and inevitable delays that go with such a project.

A very interesting percentage that you mention between the NIIF and IntelliSmart.

" 51% " has been mentioned quite often recently, in one form or another. At the moment, the percentage I am concentrating on is CyanConnode's 100% ownership of DigiSmart. But I agree with you, that you present an interesting, possible scenario.

The electricity smart meter market has always been CyanConnode's first priority in India. Quite rightly, in my opinion. With gas and water smart meters and more recently EV charging, seemingly moving up the pecking order list, of potential markets.

And not forgetting smart street lighting.

So an interesting situation that CyanConnode/the Directors/share-holders have arrived at, we understand and we will have to wait to see how/if the landscape changes, which I am sure will be for the better, as time progresses.

But thank you for the report Vas, it was appreciated.

The number of Sanctioned smart meters and the number of Awarded smart meters remains the same as the previous report. With the number of smart meters installed so far this month, standing at 102,353 and the total number of smart meters installed coming in at 12,983,575. Circa 13 million smart meters installed.

As the Directors Talk/CyanConnode report was published today, a section from within the second paragraph may be very significant and encouraging, with what we understand may be progressing at the moment.

From the report:-

" As of July 2024, contracts of 94 million smart meters have already been awarded, with CyanConnode securing a significant potion due to its impressive win ratio of approximately 25% in terms of volumes. This strong market position underscores CyanConnode's capability to deliver on its promises and its potential to scale even further as the RDSS progresses."

It doesn't seem to me personally, that CyanConnode are planning to leave the Indian Smart Meter/RDSS arena, any time soon. In my opinion.
