The issues that they mention, are important to them. And have been for a number of years. But it hasn't stopped Cyan/CyanConnode/CyanConnode India/DigiSmart Networks/CyanConnode and Partners, from developing not only specifically in India, but additionally, developing in smart meter/smart grid markets globally, also.

There are/have been challenges in Thailand/Bangkok, that are well documented, as there are with most global locations, which can be researched.

The UK smart meter/smart grid project is another that comes to mind. And the UK is classed as a " .... developed country .... ". There are others. Nothing in life, runs smoothly.

From the Cyan Holdings PVVNL RNS, provided on 30th November, 2015, we were informed that PVVNL had " ..... 3.5 million consumers, across 11 districts, in Uttar Pradesh, northern India."

From the information provided in the NSGM report, the number of Sanctioned and Awarded smart meters, is now 6m+, with only 600,000 being allocated, as far as we know, so far. So just approximately 10% of the total number Sanctioned and Awarded, so far, has been allocated for installation.

So it will be interesting to see how the allocation for potential future orders will be for IntelliSmart and Partners, specifically for PVVNL. A potential additional Framework Agreement maybe?

But other potential contracts, would also be appreciated, I am sure.

You will find the answer to the other part of your post yesterday tonyj, at 08:45, about " ..... are there any other makes supplying the PVVNL region, " within the information I posted on 3rd June, 2025, along with other installation information.

Polaris, Genus and GMR, all provide smart meter projects, for various electricity utilities in Uttar Pradesh. But from the information available/provided, IntelliSmart and Partners only, provide PVVNL. The other utilities in Uttar Pradesh, that use the other suppliers, are DVVNL, KESCO, MVVNL and PuVVNL.

There is also conformation within the NSGM report, confirming the IntelliSmart/x.com information, about the 100,000+ smart meter milestone reached in Uttar Pradesh, for PVVNL, by IntelliSmart and Partners, during May 2025, which seems to be progressing very well.

From the way the Enzen/PVVNL/Cyan RNS was worded, during November, 2015, I would say that Enzen were the " ..... lead ..... " for the project, as Enzen gave Cyan the order and the RNS also states that " Cyan will act as Enzen's solution provider, for smart metering."

As far as maintenance is concerned, the original maintenance period was for 2 years ( contained within the RNS ) which was covered as " ...... a managed service .... " The installation/support and maintenance contracts/periods, as I understand it, came with the introduction of the RDSS schemes, of which the IntelliSmart/PVVNL smart meter project, is part of.

Whether or not an additional, ongoing Support and Maintenance was/has been/is negotiated, I would be surprised if that didn't happen between PVVNL and CyanConnode, on similar lines to the RDSS Scheme, as a matter of course. But I try not to assume.

Between the RNS and the IntelliSmart " ..... 5 lakh ....." twitter link, that should give you an idea of what you are looking for.

These are just my observations tonyj. Your interpretation may be different.

....... seems to be part of the DigiSmart Networks consortium, for the Goa smart meter project. Very interesting gizmo and thanks for the heads-up. And it is also good to know that CWD are specialists in wireless technologies.

I also note that the report mentions that " ...... that the consortium will deploy and maintain nine lakh smart prepaid electricity meters across Goa." CyanConnode/DigiSmart only mentioned an order for750,000 smart meters - value approximately £70m.

So we will have to wait for further clarification from CyanConnode, on that difference.

I look at it slightly differently, as I seem to remember the original 250 million smart meter opportunity in India, ( now rumoured to be circa 280 million ) was based on smart electricity meters only. And did not include the burgeoning smart gas and smart water meter opportunities, that may present themselves in the future, as India progresses and develops.

So do I think that share-holders would have made money, based on the original projections, once the RDSS scheme gathers pace - definitely. And with the potential inclusion of AMISP, potentially smart gas and smart water meters, as well as smart electricity meters - absolutely.

And not forgetting CyanConnode's global aspirations, also.

CyanConnode also gets a mention, in that they have " ..... been announced as a co-sponsor for the 8th Annual Conference on Smart Metering in Utilities ..... ", being held in New Delhi, on 1st/2nd July, 2025.

CyanConnode do seem to be getting about a bit, so far, this year. Very encouraging.

The MonteCarlo and Partners smart meter project in Maharashtra, has increased smart meter installations by circa 848k, during May 2025, with the MonteCarlo and Partners smart meter project in Madyha Pradesh, increasing smart meter installations by circa 59k, during the same period.

So encouraging figures, I feel.

Also from the Goa project RNS this morning:-

" Following the initial kick-off meeting held with the utility to commence the contract, the Company is now engaging with sub-contractors and planning the roll-out of the smart meter deployment."

So with the involvement of CyanConnode/DigiSmart Networks/GreenMeter Goa Private Limited, we are beginning to see the possible pathway/time-scales of being an AMISP, for the Goa project at least - may be others also - that being Letter of Intent/Letter of Award/Incorporation of SVP/Agreement with Utility and sub-contractors - Roll-out.

The Goa Smart Meter Project - What we know:-

- Letter of Intent - 14th April, 2025.

- Letter of Award - 12th May, 2025.

- Incorporation of SVP - 2nd June, 2025.

- Discussions with selected sub-contractors - Ongoing.

- Roll-out - TBA.

So good progress, I feel, with the Goa smart meter project.

" ..... DigiSmart has now incorporated a Special Purpose Vehicle ( " SPV " ), Green Meter Goa Private Limited, which, together with DigiSmart, has now executed the formal contract agreement for the project."
