Of the batch of 6 x 50,000 " Buy " trades today, for what ever reason, ( 300,000,) 100,000 has not been recognized? I know this sometimes happens. But it is unusual to happen, when the time of the last trade, of the batch, is completed at 10:30am. During the morning session. But there you are. So, as I commented earlier, " ..... it seems like a fortuitous accumulation of shares ........"

Whether it proves to be timely or not, is yet to be proven.

.......... presentation, could be for any number of reasons. They may have been meetings/are having meetings, at home or maybe even abroad, with various interested/involved parties.

So logistically, there may be valid reasons why " ..... the i's have not been dotted and the t's have not been crossed."

But as share-holders had, I believe, the first Trading Update, on the 26th January, 2016, it can hardly be classed at the moment, as being late.

Thank you for the added information and a non-biased comparison, highlighting the three solutions. Namely RF, GPRS and NB-IoT. I noticed also, as did Chem, that the report confirms that GPRS uses more power. Along with some other interesting information, in notes found on Page 4:- 2.1 - GPRS in smart metering, 3.0 - NB-IoT and 3.1 - NB-IoT in smart metering, as comparisons.

But going back to your Friday 14:29 post, it would seem that there is another solution that has been trialed, over the last few years, that may also take up a slice of the overall market. That being PLC. Which seems to have roughly 25% of the total installations recorded in the report you provided.

But there is no comparison to RF, GPRS or NB-IoT, as far as pluses and minuses are concerned, to PLC.

But what the two reports confirm to me, is something I mentioned in a previous post, some months back, from an Indian smart meter/smart grid representative, that there should be a balance of technologies, to accomodate all aspects of the India smart meter/smart grid market.

A sensible approach, I would have thought.

I do not expect the progress over the next one/two/three years, to be as slow as over the previous one/two/three years. Generally, or in particular, India. I suspect that lessons have been learned, by all solution providers, meter manufacturers, utilities and the Indian Government, during this initial period.

And the order received by CyanConnode, as I mentioned in my earlier post, during September 2018, will hopefully provide CyanConnode with a platform to build from, for the rest of 2019 and beyond.

All in my view, of course. And I suspect the view of many other share-holders, also.

The September 2018 order, is from an un-named Tier One Metering Partner, possibly new as far as order contribution is concerned and for an un-named Indian State-Owned Utility. Also may be a new Client for CyanConnode.

So this order is a substantial investment for any meter manufacturer and utility. Let alone the possibility that it is from new Clients, all together.

Good morning Vas and tonyj,

A very significant piece of information Vas, so thank you for that. Significant in that it gives, in some cases, but not in all, the information for the solution provided for the individual India Smart Grid Pilots.

If you take the number of smart meter installations, recognized in the report you posted Vas, so far, the position, as tonyj has indicated, is encouraging.

From information we have received from CyanConnode, from installation projects carried out by Larsen&Toubro and Genus, they have contributed just over 64,500 smart meters, so far. About 32% of the 200,000 smart meters mentioned in the report.

Which is a higher percentage over-all, to be honest, than I had thought.

But it is good to get the breakdown of solutions provided, so we can see first hand, how the official distribution of contracts is actually going.

But this does not include, for the $11.6 million order, received by CyanConnode, during September 2018. Which should provide a contribution to 2019 figures, as the Company is expecting a contribution from this contract in the last quarter of 2018.

Interesting times.

Personally, I do not see any contribution coming from the current Chinese Licensing contract, that will be recognized in the 2018 figures. The way the contract was put to shareholders in the RNS, dated 7th December, 2018, that " Beijing Instruments will pay a license fee, each time a RF module and/or gateway unit is manufactured ........ " does not leave much time, in the remaining 3 weeks or so of 2018, to register any revenue. But it would be a boost to be proven otherwise.

So we will have to see what the outcome is for " ..... the Company is currently taking advice from its auditors regarding revenue recognition, in relation to this signed Licensing Agreement."

But at least CyanConnode do not have to wait until the units are installed in the meter, or after a site installation. Payment is made after manufacture.

I think all shareholders will be frustrated at the share-price, until a regular revenue contribution is confirmed and established, from the ongoing contracts that CyanConnode has won.

From the Licensing Agreement RNS, released on 7th December, 2018, CyanConnode gave information on the value of the contract, basic terms for that contract and the duration of the contract. Personally, I cannot see what further information shareholders would need.

I recognize that CyanConnodes competitors would want to know the finite details of the contract, such as distribution location, number of licenses, etc., so I am comfortable with the fact that we do not know the complete picture.

If we know, then our competitors know.

Well done Chem. The information is much appreciated and the information on the future trip to Japan, including CyanConnode, looks very interesting.

I saw a video presentation about 18 months ago, that Bjorn did, just after the Cyan acquisition of Connode. So with the closing of the original Connode offices in Sweden, it is good to know that CyanConnode retained his services and are benefiting/will benefit from his experience, contacts and knowledge, concerning the License Royalty contracts.

Sorry for the delay. Thank you for the information regarding the Dominican Republic.

Telit, as this report indicates from 2015, had/have an agreement with ZigBee, to " ..... enable a reliable ZigBee data communication system between smart meters and either radio frequency or cellular networks."

There also seems to be some indication in the report, that Telit has a connection to a mainland European meter manufacturer, when it says:- " The development follows Telit Communications' securing of a deal with a smart electric meter vendor, based in Netherlands, earlier this month." But it does not say specifically, if the smart electric meter vendor, is Dutch. Just that it is " ...... based in Netherlands ...... "
