Very interesting video gizmo and thank you for sharing. It makes you realize the task these engineers have in replacing existing overhead cabling, with new, underground cabling in Goa, to make sure that the electrical infrastructure is in place.

I would say, that this has to happen with every smart meter project that takes place. A big and essential job, I would say. If there are any Linemen out of work, India could be the place to go.

When the snow has gone, of course.

My understanding of the " Loan " is basically the same as your interpretation. The Loan Note, as I interpret it - $5.2m = approximately £3.86m - is to be used for AMISP tender deposits, as set out in the 7th November, 2025 RNS, which are returned when the process is completed, successfully. So as far as CyanConnode/DigiSmart are concerned, the monies/deposits will be re-useable.

From the RNS:-

" The funds provided under the Loan Note, will be used to secure Earnest Money Deposits ( " EMDs " ) for AMISP tenders, on which DigiSmart intends to bid. EMDs are refundable deposits required when submitting bids, under the RDSS, demonstrating a bidder's commitment to proceed with the project, if selected. The deposits are typically returned following the tender process, except where a bidder withdraws or fails to complete contractual formalities after being awarded the contract."

John Cronin also commented:-

" This additional funding represents another important step in our strategy, to secure substantial AMISP contracts, under India's RDSS programme. It enables us to participate in significant tender opportunities and demonstrates the confidence our Partners have in CyanConnode's technology, capability and long-term vision for smart, sustainable, energy management.

" We are delighted to strengthen our Partnership with the lender and appreciate their continued confidence in our vision and growth trajectory."

As far as smart meter project funding is concerned, I see that Apraava Energy secured a R801 crore ( Approx £68m ) worth of financing from British International Investment ( BII ) and Standard Chartered, during December 2025, to finance their up-and-coming smart meter projects, installing 2m smart meters under RDSS. Which is encouraging.

And personally, I do not see The CyanConnode Group being sold for " pennies " or " going pop ", as you put it. The funding of The CyanConnode Group, for the immediate future at least, seems to be secure, through recent investors/financiers, that can see the potential of The CyanConnode Group and understand how the business works. As the Company grows and becomes more successful and more profitable, everyone will feel a lot better.

But as the Apraava Energy financing reminds us, Companies always need funding, in one way or another.

And I am also encouraged by how The CyanConnode Group is developing, on a global scale, outside of India.

But I am glad you got your answer on the " Treasury " issue.

I am optimistic for the rest of FY26 and into FY27, for both AMISP contracts and SI contracts.

The " Treasury " side, you have mentioned a few times over the years. Have you discussed it with John or Heather, to see their opinion on it and why they haven't done it, as yet. There is a downside as well as an upside to this transaction, so maybe they could put their point of view.

As you say, it is not a great inconvenience. But CyanConnode/DigiSmart and the Government of Goa, do need a proper electrical infrastructure in place initially, to complete the contract, successfully, I would say.

But why they did not start earlier, why does any Government not start/finish projects on time. It's Governments, I am sorry to say. But they do imply that the November 2028 completion date, for the project, is still achievable.

There is essential underground cabling that needs to be installed prior to the smart metering programme proper, starting, But according to the report, the November 2028 completion date, for the project, remains unchanged.

Any immediate, initial smart meter installation news from CyanConnode, on the Goa project may be limited, I might suggest. But the final completion date, is unchanged

If the Zeus " Estimate " for FY2025 of £34.5m was incorrect, which it was and CyanConnode under-shot there FY2024 " Actual " figure of £18.7m, which they did, posting FY2025 " Actual " figures of £14.2m, why deduct £14.2m, from an estimated figure that was incorrect and did not exist?

The £34.5m estimated figure, theoretically did not exist. It was an estimate. The " missing " £20m figure, actually does not exist. Because the £34.5m estimate, was incorrect.

All in my opinion, of course.

Good afternoon all,

The CyanConnode Interim Results, posted on 18th December 2025, tells us that at the moment, CyanConnode's contracted Group order-book stands at circa £157 million, as of 30th September, 2025. This is made up of £70 million as an AMISP for the Goa smart meter contract, the remainder of £87 million is as a Systems Integrator.

CyanConnode has also informed us that CyanConnode also has, in India alone, a Serviceable Obtainable Market ( SOM ) of £231 million.

So I agree with the sentiment to potentially increase the CyanConnode order-book, to " .... £200 million in the next 6 months " by RedOne55, this morning. But it will depend on the mix/size of potential contracts.

An AMISP contract, the size that CyanConnode/DigiSmart/GreenMeter have in Goa, could potentially, do it in one. A System Integrator contract, of the size that CyanConnode received during August 2024 ( 6.5 million units ) could also potentially be enough. Both would be very encouraging indeed.

Also, we would have to take into account the number of smart meters that would drop off the back-end, having already been installed.

There is also, optimistically, the potential for a " Left Field " order, from one of CyanConnode's other Global Smart Meter Markets/Partners/Customers, as some times happens.

So, some interesting times ahead, I feel, looking forward optimistically.

My " MO " as you put it, is " Positive " about CyanConnode and has been for a number of years. There are other posters, like yourself, that have different opinions and post differently. As an investor, I am and have been focused on where I think CyanConnode is going and how CyanConnode is developing. You and a few others, post a different opinion and see things differently.

It's been a journey that has taken longer than anyone thought, but then I feel the smart meter market opportunity is much bigger than when we first went into India. CyanConnode now has a global reach. In my opinion.

Good afternoon all,

Some very interesting comments, on 19th December 2025, at 22:42, on 30th December 2025, at 18:58 and January 2nd 2026, at 21:18. Interesting only in the way that they are exactly the same response, from possibly the same poster, ( But I am not totally convinced ) to possibly posts of mine, that they have been using for years. So, very strange.

The post at 13:25 today, is beyond strange, as it comes from a poster, that over the years has used various poster names, posted over two bulletin-boards and now seems to be back for another go, who seems to be pushing a similar line. Whether these various posters are the same person, is impossible to tell.

Which is possibly the reason for it.

Just to be clear, after all these years, I only now know one person/poster personally, on this bb, from AGM meetings/Investor meetings, etc., which must tell you something. But I know more people/posters personally from ADVFN, than I do on LSE, from the same meetings.

As far as John Cronin and myself being the same person is concerned, those that have attended the AGM meetings over the years and know us both, will know that the implication is not true. It is just a nonsense comment.

Just thought I would share some relevant information with you all, as a balance to recent posts.

Specifically for the Goa/CyanConnode/DigiSmart smart meter contract, 827 Feeder smart meters have been Sanctioned and Awarded for the Goa project - but yet to commence installation and also 8,369 Distribution Transformer ( DT ) smart meters have been Sanctioned and Awarded for the Goa project - but yet to commence installations.

I would suggest that there will be a certain amount of preliminary work to be carried out by the winning sub-contractor, prior to installations commencing.

MonteCarlo and Partners installed 656k+ smart meters during December 2025, within 2 of their smart meter projects, while IntelliSmart and Partners installed 326k+ within 5 of their smart meter projects, during the same period. Genus and Partners also installed 1.35m+ within 10 of their smart meter projects, for the NSGM smart meter programme.

Other AMISP's/Smart Meter Manufacturers contributed a further 1m+ to the overall installation total for December 2025, so well done to all involved.
