Good evening Vas and thank you for sharing " Season 1 ". Season 2 may be very interesting indeed.

I remember when Cyan Technology, as they were known at the time, first went into India, there was hardly any RF infrastructure in place at the time. But that did not deter them. CyanConnode have developed/help develop an RF infrastructure in India specifically and are making inroads with RF infrastructure, on the global stage. And long may it continue.

You may remember Vas, the old adage, concerning the shoe salesman who decided not to go to a country were people did not wear shoes, failing to see the opportunities that might present themselves.

CyanConnode are steadily developing RF markets throughout various global regions, which will hopefully continue for years to come, in one form or another.

Western Europe predominantly, seems to be nearing completion - 90%+ - of their respective smart meter programs, where as Portugal ( I think ) and the UK are around 50% complete. It looks like Germany, surprisingly, seems to have only completed circa 5% of their smart meter programme - in February 2023.

Breaking down the CyanConnode " Shares Issued " page, there are 40%+ of the overall number of shares in issue that are held, shall we say, by non-affiliated companies to CyanConnode. There are two share-holders, who are also on the Major Shareholders List - namely David-Johns Powell and S. Chari who own 10.8%+ of the overall number of shares in issue, who are shall we say, directly affiliated to CyanConnode. And there is the Director Shareholding that accounts for 9%+ of the overall shares in issue, of shall we say, of investors directly affiliated to CyanConnode.

It's worth noticing that the holding of David-Johns Powell is recorded in both the Major Shareholders section and the Directors Shareholding section, at the same percentage rate. There was a reason given for this recognition, but I cannot remember what it was.

Having posted about the Tamil Nadu project on many occasions over the years and as it happens, recently, the Tamil Nadu individual " Packages " are achievable for CyanConnode, seeing as they received their largest order so far, during August 2024, for 6.5 million Omnimesh modules.

The AMISP contract(s) for Tamil Nadu, as you have indicated, should be very lucrative. By using the Goa contract as a guide, that works out at circa £93 per meter, over the duration of the contract. But it may be a little early yet, to hope for an AMISP contract in Tamil Nadu, for CyanConnode/DigiSmart, as various organisations will probably want to see how the Goa contract progresses initially, first.

But you never know. The CyanConnode Group's standing , especially in India, is very high, in my opinion

CyanConnode and IntelliSmart, as we have learnt recently, seem to be very proactive in South Africa and the UAE, so it will be interesting to see how the market develops in those two specific regions.

But I am sure that the India smart meter opportunity, is always in the CyanConnode DNA. And with the potential " Retro-fit " solution being sourced for UPPCL, that I also posted on recently, to upgrade their existing, already installed electric meters, there could be further opportunities ahead, for CyanConnde.

You are welcome tonyj. Cyan/CyanConnode have, over the years, progressed steadily. But they have progressed, with solution reliability and importantly, global recognition.

The smart meter market, in India specifically, is a different place, than when CyanConnode first entered the Indian smart meter market, many years ago. You may remember that Cyan Technology, as it was known then, tendered for a project for Tamil Nadu, that was eventually " lodged ", ( Stopped ) which had a smart meter opportunity at the time, of 18 million smart meters. The smart meter opportunity in Tamil Nadu today, through TANGEDCO, is now 30 million electric smart meters alone. Gas and Water smart meters are additional, plus the EV charging opportunity, of which CyanConnode also offer solutions for.

But the share price increase yesterday, was welcome, especially on " no news ". The continued share price increase today, so far, is very encouraging indeed.

" According to UPPCL director ( commercial ) Prashant Verma, smart meters were being installed in phases, targeting big cities first. The Uttar Pradesh Corporation Limited ( UPPCL ) is pressing ahead with its smart metering drive, aimed at plugging revenue leakages.

" About 45.72 lakh ( 4.57 million ) smart meters have been installed across the state, so far, ( till October ). This is 17% of the total 2.7 crore targeted ( 27m ) under the Centre's Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme ( RDSS ).

In answer to your question, Vas, if " ..... Airtel/IntelliSmart/Adani ...... " are involved in a potential roll-out of 20 million smart meters, along with potentially Secure Meters and the projects, shall we say, come under the RDSS umbrella, ( As the IntelliSmart Open Agreement stipulates, with CyanConnode ), I see no reason why IntelliSmart and the CyanConnode Group cannot collaborate on these projects, in some way or another.

As I have mentioned before, India has been a " proving ground " over the years, for the CyanConnode Group, in my opinion and the lessons and best business practices learned along the way, should be able to be implemented, globally. With minor tweaks, as lessons are learned, in different geographies.

But as I indicated earlier on, we will have to wait and see how the situation develops in India, as well as globally, with IntelliSmart.
