The current market punishes missed targets 20/30%. If you cut your div, sack your ceo and exploration director and kitchen sink your forward looking forecasts, its easy to see why iis don't like TLW and the SP discounted down more to move volumes
Having said that, TLW has since given 95% confidence the net assets are c 90p per share. Kenya sale will take cash issues off the table and TLW can reposition for growth.

If TLW drop from the ftse 250, the SP will go lower so they need the sale between now and March to kill any short attack imo

Think TLW story is now about the valuation of undeveloped reserves. The price of developed oil is relevant but less so for TLW at the moment between now and march. Who knows.
I am gambling on 50p being support and sit and wait. Clearly the management have a comms strategy in place. Fundamentals/ reporting in march shouldn't have any new news

Total brings huge influence to a good outcome with interested parties. JV or strategic parnerships are how businesses expand economically in Africa

I agree and I was lucky but have confidence in the industry and the role it plays in trade agreements etc.

I think BT will see £4 again once politicians and civil servants are all lined up and the management team move from forming to norming to storming...

When I average down, I include selling and buying back lower. I have worked for Vod and BT so have a genuine interest too.

..but the net risk probabilities are to the upside imo

Yes I bought too many Vod from over 200 to 180s and then all the way down to 122. Sold for profit on the way back up for a 144 average..
My BT stop was a schoolboy error but traded back to 196 average.

I think BT is going to come good. The new management imo are finalising strategy and have made substantial financial commitments. That's good and I feel they are positioned for a one off correction up before the return to SP growth and why I got back in
