The statutory accounts say the assets are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. Hopefully the depreciation policy has covered the legacy equipment assets already. Buildings and brownfield sites safe as houses imo..

Could be. This pledge for loans is like islamic finance thinking meets MW thinking. The force of arguement when freeh report comes out should frighten the shorts away for a while..still, the thought that equity = loans with high loan interest rates is why many assets are overvalued in a low interest rate environment...
