I thought the Freeh report would focus on cash initially. That with an audited set of statutory accounts closes the margin to cash enigma. Auditors aren't going to roll over here, they will give an opinion they can defend in court.

MW strategy is death by a thousand cuts and impossible to structure an opinion for investors except over the long term, in court, fact by fact. Suits the shorters

Emirates NBD unloaded a further 1%... so confidence in management assurances lost at that point...

If related to NMC other than by sentiment, isnt that breaking the companies acts and directors will be prosecuted. Plenty of ii's with budget who would seek a remedy. Not sure what recovery a pi would get.

The only indication of weakness is they said they would strengthen corporate governance frameworks if required...that could mean anything including jail sentences for non compliance with the companies acts and the directors legal responsibilities and assurances in the accounts on which we have placed reliance..

Do we think we get an RNS on monday? The last one says they know of no reason but the drop since is unreasonable...

Maybe the silence was to do with the lock in period. I say was, because they are at £7...Only way out is the Freeh report and a clean audit report. If good, this will bounce big imo

Can go down to zero because the directors and freeh aren't saying anything. Imagine their lawyers are wording an rns for Monday as freeh only had a couple of weeks prep. Although, no reason why Freeh couldn't just put something out to counter MW report in the interim setting out the legal narrative etc would help setting the scene with more to come.
