This is always interesting - last update was 3rd Dec - you can see the MCaps of all the companies in the FTSE100 /250 etc - GGP are in the same ballpark as most of the FTSE 250 constituents, and that was before the extra shares came into play....

It's all down, of sorts, to this and that, probably. maybe they will, maybe they won't, or may perhaps should. as far as i see, i could, or could not say that it is or isn't, or will be in future, a thing. we will, of course,if we can, watch on and see. it will be my view that, on one hand, we continue on, or on the other hand things are different.

My final point on this.

If you yourself had listened to many, many posters on here, you'd know that TM1 was for most a speculative buy. The project was attractive and the numbers looked good. The hits to *most* people's portfolios will be minimal due to their exposure being minimal - at the time of investment, the upside far outweighed the risk to capital.

It's easy coming on to a bulletin board of an AIM share and exposing all the potential weaknesses and flaws. A great deal of them are dogs, and it's a minefield - but sometimes there are some gems out there. Even with the gems they can be mismanaged or you can be diluted out of any useful returns. You're no expert to be able to list and highlight a raft of possible risks - most investors would be aware of these, and start ups are fraught with financial danger . However some of the conspiracy theories have been pie in the sky for this company's lack of success - it's been down to the slow, slow speed of turn around - it's current position can be blamed on management and the environment agency, and not half the reasons that have been thrown out there over the last year or two.

You're not providing a service - think about what you said there - it's not true is it? - really? What a joke of a thing to say. I'm very much with Chain on the points he's made.

Dip, that is an excellent summary - the only difference for me is that I foresee holding these now for a longer term - I believe SD et al believes he can recreate what he's seen / been involved with at Northern Star and see Hav & the Paterson as the platform. The Telfer deal, although it always seems obvious in hindsight, was one of the more leftfield outcomes for Greatland and I think it's going to be more of the same over the next few years. Acquisitions, deals and further diversification along with the expected Havieron mine? Who knows.

I understand all that but sometimes you can have worked buys or sells - I was surmising that despite the usual mis-calculations, the sheer difference may imply that there may be some big buys soaking up lots of smaller sells.

Anyway it's irrelevant really - a great day and we're up and running.

I realise the Buys vs Sells are never that accurate, but there is such a discrepancy today, with sells massively outweighing buys.

The last time this happened on a rising share price, there were a flurry of massive buys reported after hours.

In August 2022, Newcrest'sSandeep Biswas rejected the extra 5% of Havieron.

So here is the question:

Following this, did anyone predict that two years later Newcrest wouldn't exist, and Greatland would be running Telfer and developing Havieron?

Just my own opinion but I feel there is still some short term up side to the SP - there may still be recent holders showing large gains who wish to cash in, but overall this is now ( well, after tomorrow) a business that is starting to produce & to make money and I'm hoping this will attract more investors who don't want the volatility of other Aim shares but bracket this one as a potential growth share.

There was an update in the last RNS - it's gone from 'early November 2024' to 'very shortly'.

Not just shortly - very shortly. Extrapolating that out into TM1 dog years, that's about mid Jan?

On 1 November 2024 the Company announced a delay in publication of the Company's annual report and accounts for the year ended 30 June 2024 (the "Accounts"). The Company expects the Accounts to be filed very shortly.

It may have been pointed out before but they look like they're possibly gradually dropping the 'gold' from Greatland Gold - most of the documents now have Greatland on them.

They're definitely receiving shipments of spent batteries - just ask the local fire service.

Despite what has been going on, it does look like this will return to market soon.

The newsflow has been decent and they've got something to put in the plus column on the accounts, if it works like that.

I've held onto a few in here 'just in case' - I've been disappointed with the communication on this project - timescales have been no where near. The benefit of the doubt was given for the environment permits but there have been hold ups at every turn. Have TM1 been extremely unlucky, or overstretched, or incompetent or blasé? People have pointed the finger at the convertible loan but I don't believe this is the *cause* of the issues - these are meant to be stop-gaps while a company gets to where it needs to be, but the sheer length of time everything has taken has shown that this was not appropriate. Whether it was the only finance left available I don't know.

Anyway, they've got the Leinster deal over the line, they've got an agreement with Halfords & MOD, it would maybe even have a bounce if they come back to market saying the TFS is up and running!!
