Phase 1a continues with a further DE (level TBA) cohort. Phase 1a primarily safety and tolerability. But, ‘we have designed this to be data rich’, and to identify MTB – for ‘regulatory’ and ‘commercial’ reasons. Achieved 2x ‘normal’ dose with minimal side-effects and no cardiotoxicity.
‘It is early days but ... doxorubicin has been released at therapeutic levels in all 6 biopsies’.
‘Future clinical studies is about efficacy in certain specific cancers such as soft tissue sarcoma’.
Phase 1b, ‘focus on one or two cancer types looking for first indications of efficacy’ (but we already have biopsies). ‘Two sites in the US sites getting lined up’ (decide if needed?)..

Interesting discussion, many possible outcomes … ‘the BH could then exit over time for further pure profit, or retain a share position for the journey.’
Or, for example, if the BH (Anavio) holds then they are extremely well placed to ‘facilitate’ an acquisition. Really would like to know who the potential JV partner is.

Doug, good points re mcap / sp and Bond holders, would also add the (massive) self-interest of the management team (plus Arthur’s direct holdings of course).
Anavio holding 104 bonds which, along with warrants, when converted/exercised would give them ~187m shares – out of a potential total, fully diluted, of ~500m = ~37%.
Management Options (as per Q3 2022 financials) are ~19m @ USD$0.45 average = ~37p.
A few questions arising (perhaps?) …
Do Anavio, a) have full discretion on their investment in COPL, or b) are they investing on behalf of, and being actively guided by, one or more clients?
If a) then what is their target price (margin on $0.1583 conversion price) to convert and sell?
If b) then who is / are the client(s)? And what might be their intentions? (Hopefully takeover!).
Regarding the management team options – they are going to want the SP a lot higher to make anything like ‘big money’.

While CanSEEK™ (FAP-a Activated Prodrug Technology Platform), may look like it’s a bit in the background, what might change if and when a certain other ‘FAP-a Activated Prodrug Technology Platform’, albeit for Prodoxorubicin, is proven to work?
They seem to be holding back on trials involving certain isotopes, for example Actinium-225, which has been mentioned as a CanSEEK™ candidate. Ac-225 being an alpha particle emitter – so higher energy. So higher risks if ‘untargeted’ as the alpha (or beta or gamma) emissions from the radio isotopes being ‘transported’ through the body just keep on going and risk tissue, cell, DNA damage etc. You can’t turn the radiation off – unlike the inert state of ‘transported’ chemotherapy (Prodoxorubicin).
Oh, and remember “POINT’s CanSEEKTM technology is the subject of licenses from both Bach Biosciences and Avacta Life Sciences”.
