Is definitely needed here. I can't believe the SP has slipped down lately when I thought that, even at 86p etc, this was cheap based on my 'reasons to buy' list I previously posted. I'd so top up tomorrow if I could, especially considering Fridays and Decembers are the best times to buy. (http://stockmarketalmanac.co.uk) Either way this is a Strong Buy!

The fact this has been continually a poor performer makes me wonder whether 1) it will continue to be an under performer for a good while yet 2) it is finally about to turn the corner / have a turn around It's certainly given me food for thought. I looked up their FB and Twitter accounts and they really don't keep it up to date. To the extent that I do find it a bit concerning. It makes me wonder whether they'll keep the market up to date / whether the news flow will be good forthcoming. On the other hand, if the fundementals are solid then perhaps it won't matter so much. It just means that, if you want to sell, there will be narrower windows of opportunity than on most shares I guess.

Why the drop? Kinda interested to know cos I invest a bit for my dad and he's asked me to keep an eye in this share because he knows the chairman or something or rather...

The MCAP is in sterling and the cash etc is in dollars. So there cash is still over a third of the market cap - just not half (yet). I totally agree with your general sentiment though. SIM looks like a good investment based on my calculations. If I had some more cash I'd definitely buy in now!

Well I accounted for the cash as £2m and yet got an EV of £9m. What am I doing wrong to continually over state the EV/EBIT ratio? Btw I've just came across Creston and was gonna tell you in on it but, low and behold, you're already there! Haha

EV is currently ~9m MCAP + 2m liabilities - 2m cash = £9m EBIT almost £1m as you said and growing EV/EBIT = 9.5 ish? Yeah this does look cheap for a growth stock. Will probably invest when I have some funds

Yeah those who ought just cos it's an IPO won't hang a round long! And no not a chance. Look at 'reasons to buy' post for the reasons why. SyQic are going to have an amazing 2014 and - mark my words - their 2013 half year results will be superb! This is a stock I plan to hold for at least 12 months and we may not see these low prices again. I'm not going anywhere mate. You?

Bambos, I'm not expecting a blue day tbh. Perhaps reddish even. Cos On one hand you have impatient PIs who bought in for a quick buck who'll be getting impatient. On the other you have news fairly imminent. I'm holding for now, happily have it sitting in my portfolio ready for good news flow throughout 2014 :)
