The charts aren’t looking good for SYQ to be honest. There seems to be support at the 65-66p level here because we’ve bounced off that point a couple of times now. But now we’re retesting yet again and I think we may go beneath it tbh. However I think what we’re seeing is the typical drift which comes when there’s a sheer lack of news for a decent period of time. I remain firmly confident of my investment here (having bought at 77p) so I shall be holding and topping up and averaging down when I can because it will be too tempting to resist beneath 60p considering how undervalued it is already. Having done a lot of research, I’m sticking with my conservative end of 2014 target of 150p. All in my own opinion. DYOR.

Have to admit that I'd sell too. And probably get further into MOS. Guess we'll have to continue being patient with our fingers crossed :)

Thanks for your input and I agree. Think I've looked into this stock enough to have put me off investing any time soon!

How on earth did you trade ubc shares when they're suspended, and - presuming you're right - how come that hasn't shown up?

The fundamentals are great and, looking at the charts and past RNSs, it looks as though news is due on 24th or 27th January, and CDY always does well on the back of that news. For that reason CDY is a strong short-term Buy in my opinion. And it seems as though no one has noticed! Shame I have no spare cash...

Haha if only I had the money to build the dream portfolio I'd like, eh? Because, the sad thing is, I spot a lot of good shares and rarely have the money to buy into them. And, when I do have money, I usually have to pick my favourite, I continue to watch the ones I like the look of (like LRM) but often find I miss the boat by the time I eventually have the money to buy in! LRM is one of those shares. I like the look of it but I can't afford to buy it yet. But yeah I totally agree with you - LRM should do very well ... in time (as you said). I feel strongly about this because LRM are taking advantage of the increasingly regulatory environment banks face both here and the US. And, especially in the US, it is getting exciting and LRM's business opportunities are growing! :)

he is shorting what is probably the most undervalued stock on AIM (and that's based on what NBU have achieved so far). He's a nutter / idiot in my opinion for doing so!

but, because it is Chinese, I am wary of it. Not because I do not trust the BOD and figures to be honest etc but because I know how wary the market is towards chinese shares. I mean just look at NBU, CAMK, JQW, etc. Chinese shares don't fare well here - at least not on AIM.

Although 15% is exactly what the spread is right now (275p to buy, 238p to sell) consequently making me downgrade what could only ever be described as a weak buy down to nothing!

this is interesting because I worked out that the EPS will be about 74% of what it was last year equating to about 19.9p for 2014 FY. At the current buy price of 275p the PE ratio is 13.82, below the FTSE average of 16 (which would value DTC at 318p and make investors buying now a 15% profit.

Just looked at the fundamentals for this share and I'm baffled. Now I know I should probably go through tons of RNSs to find out what's what but I'm at work and don't have the time so here's my question: How is it that in 2013 Revenue was 29.4m and Profit before tax was 34.4? How can Profit be higher than revenue?!

I have no idea what the financial diary looks like tbh, and tbh I'm not too fussed. But I'd be surprised if we didn't see the 2013 FY results by April. Even my most conservative target price for SyQ is 150p which means I'll get a 100% gain here so I'm pretty relaxed about when that happens, as long as that happens within 2014. And, in fact, the longer it stays around these levels, the more opportunity I have to top up my original investment :)

Between 2010 and 2012 the revenue and profit grew incredibly fast. 2013 FY results soon to be released will show less than stellar growth but I feel confident predicting the 2014 HY and FY results will catch everyone's eyes. I expect 2014 EPS to be roughly 9p. Applying the average FTSE P/E ratio of 16 would give us a valuation of 144. However the average P/E ratio for a high growth stock like ourselves is much higher. Likewise netflix, our closest comparison business model wise (we're a minnow compared to them ofcourse), gives an even higher P/E ratio! Therefore, if we were to apply a forward P/E ratio of 25 (which would not be exuberant) for 2014, we would be valued at 225p. No advice intended. DYOR. Etc
