Good evening you two, Just got time for a quick post before bed. I disliked how CTFA's partnership expires so soon. Trust te maket to think the opposite of me haha! I think the market is setting it up for a AEC-like drop tbh. I shall be watching. CP, what makes you think OMIP is one of the best stocks? I actually think it might be a bit overvalued now. To see that the 10% gain on Friday not only held today but was built upon. We'll probably end up consolidating around 65p soon or perhaps it's more likely we'll go further up seeing as more people now know about SYQ. It'll be interesting to see what happens but this movement is very promising!

EV/EBIT figure and ...is it actually negative due to the v high level of cash?!

I've never seen you ramp anything. Usually you pop in and out of shares with a quick little comment / series of comments and disappear for a bit. But not here. Are you so bullish here because the EV/EBIT figure is ridiculously low due to the Cash >>>>> (far exceeding) their liabilities?

The fact you're invested here despite it looking racy at first glance is unusual and therefore caught my interest. I shall do some research into this next week :) How are you doing anyway? And are you at home or have you swanned off back to France? Haha

OMIP was one of the first shares that caught my eye somehow, I looked into it and loved the business model. However the share had just risen from 10p to 16p and so I couldn't bring myself to buy it because of that whole missed the boat feeling. I stuck it on the watch list, watched it closely for a while but eventually lost interest and went elsewhere. I only came back on here because of that superb rise yesterday but I am unfortunately not a holder. You're certainly an astute investor but I think it's funny that you seem to have taken that as more of a compliment that saying what a lovely chap you are haha! Investing is a continual challenge and I love learning about a company when I find one that really catches my interest. "Sometimes you have to pay to play" - I like that saying and I think that's very true. I recently set up a virtual stock account that mimics the LSE but it just isn't the same because I can't get away from the fact it's not real money therefore I take risks or take profit etc when other times I wouldn't, etc. And obviously just watching the stock market and saying I'd buy then or sell then just isn't the same as being there with skin in the game. Shame there's an ocean between you guys, eh? And yeah I get around. Often finding shares I like but can't afford to buy into. And then when I can spend I stick it on shares like MOS before it's epic 70% collapse haha! So no my investments are not going too well at the moment but I'm still learning and still reckon I'll be in profit this year so I don't mind. (Although I am beginning to wonder whether I ought to become a bit more inactive til the summer when many AIM shares become much cheaper) Btw, having read my previous post back I realise it was a bit unclear. But basically, over Wednesday and Thursday, I spent 30 hours in London! Mostly cos I work there of course but also because my parents went to a wine tasting event and needed a designated driver (me) and, despite reassuring me they'd finish at 9pm, they didn't finish til gone 11pm! Haha Tbf though it wasn't all bad. I was with my girlfriend whilst I waited, which was nice. AND I saw Alastair Darling* outside Lloyd's of london / the cheese grater that night which - as a political nerd - made me stop in my tracks haha! * former chancellor and proud owner of pitch black eyebrows and snowy white hair. What a combo!

I think it's dead sweet you've found out you both have a mutual love for the numbers 22 and 29 haha!

Rob229 has to be one of the most astute investors I've come across on LSE and certainly the most polite. He's an absolute gent. To rob, I am sorry for not yet replying to you on the EBQ bb. I've had a busy few days. Including one day where I was out of the house from 7am til 1am the following day, before having to wake up at 6.30am after a lousy 5 hour sleep to go to work the next day. I felt awful and haven't had the time to research shares or reply yet. Hope you're well mate :)

That was a nice steady rise we saw today and, more importantly, it's brought SYQ to more people's attention. I'm pleased with that :)

and reached 67.5p at one point. But there's been a stonkingly large 50k sell to bring us below 65p again! Nevermind...

which has always been a sticky point for SYQ - either as support or, more recently, as resistance. If we break 65p today it'll bode very well in the immediate term. Medium term this share is an absolute gem (just talking super short term).
