I have a feeling that the next 2-4 weeks will be the last throw of the dice foe Icewine2V. If it is still struggling then the game will go back in the box, until we're ready to go lateral - and that could either take us into the HRZ or the Alpha conventional - or both..
A deal will be simmering at the moment wrt Bravo & Charlie - that should sort out funding the next wave of activity, probably too late to go for the HRZ lateral until next summer, but Alpha could be the first arrow out of the quiver (late winter) followed by the HRZ in summer, without needing to move the camp.
Once we have the cash up front from our farming activity regarding Bravo/Charlie, we will have only a passing interest until the results come in - but those results will put the shine on the remaining conventional prospects within our boundaries. Maybe PI's will even get a special dividend if the ducks line up as hoped.
To my mind the next big project to capture the imagination will be Horseshoe - we will be sharing the cost, and will give us some commercial production experience (unless we've sold out to a major before that happens). If the consortium decides to produce from it, then we will have an income stream as a second source of cash.
Beyond that we have Yukon Gold, which may follow a similar path to Horseshoe - but it's ALL ours.
A year from now, attention may turn back to the HRZ as we will certainly have the money in the bank to fund those 8-10 test wells that DW & PB mentioned in the past.
Whatever else this company is accused of, sitting on its laurels is not one of them.
Nothing is set in concrete because too rigid a plan only leads to disappointment when dealing with unknown factors, and that goes double for Alaskan projects.
The big question for LTHers is how long will the majors hide in the bushes? There will come a point when they will realise "we either go in now with an offer they can't refuse, or we wait another year and pay double".
If Icewine2 spews its guts in July - we'll be there a year earlier than if it goes back in the box for a year.

I was thinking of hydrated mineral salts like sodium chloride and copper sulphate rather than alcohols (hydrates) such as propanol, methanol, butanol which have an OH attachment. Hope word does not get back to my Chem teacher - must be nearing 90 now, the disappointment would do for him. :-)

Icy, I think RMP have been holding investors money for a while, ant the shareholders are so chuffed that they have invested that cash with some big boys who know what they are doing. They are so cock-a-hoop that all their pals want to be in on it too - and that has skewed the market. In a few weeks when millionaire status has not hit those new investors, things will slide back into a stable state of equilibrium until they get more positive news of a gusher next year.
When we get news of Charlie/Bravo, 3D, Yukon they may get a tiny blip of reflected glory, but our sp will shine brighter with each bulletin.

What is the significance of "hydrates"?
As I understand it they are substances that dissolve in water, so why would the cause a blockage?
The whole well is filled to overflowing with water - so these undefined, dissolved hydrates will be flowing to the surface along with other fluids. They might affect the specific gravity of the FF, but as far as I can tell they are no more a threat to operations than a sugar cube in a flask of coffee - not enough of it to spoil the taste.

ShinFalls, the Alaskan Tundra winter does not have a calendar entry. Temperatures in our neck of the woods are sub-zero in November and by December, daytime is usually -4C, which I believe is the magic number for granting winter access for exploration purposes Seasons are variable so schedules have to be flexible. We therefore have close to 4 months of summer left, give or take a few weeks.

Topofoz, don't know how you can breathe up there. Only got as far as The Daintree on my trip north. So oppressive - the humidity was a killer. Could not sleep in Cairns so headed for the hills of Kuranda after the first night - about 5 degrees lower. Will never forget that trip - if Dave comes up trumps may go West next time.

I would not be surprised to see the same RNS that we had on Friday being published on ASX. Not expecting anything else until Thurs/Monday. Clearly the target date we had will be subject to revision as the latest flow rates fell below those necessary to achieve the target - too many people here think that a target date is a contractual obligation. These people have never managed a project else they'd know the difference - yet they feel qualified to judge the calibre of the BoD who are aĺl superbly qualified to do their respective jobs.

This is an experimental well. There is no manual. The road to success is navigated by experienced travellers who can work out the best approach from first principles, and adapt the plan as variations to assumptions unfold. Timings are impossible to predict with certainty so we have to let the guys in Alaska get on with it. Anyone feeling jittery over their investment need to learn a lesson here. We need to be more flexible than those who would ask "how long is a piece of string" - elastic is my material preference.

Just as our well is subject to artificial lift controlled by the guys at the wellhead, so the SP is subject to artificial compression by the guys manipulating the market. Both techniques are onlly short term measures - at some point the true nature will take control - and that will be less than 10 days away.

Thought I'd just mention a little known fact : Shares can go down, as well as up. Clearly, many have not read the small print and are now looking to exonerate themselves by blaming everything or everyone else rather than holding to the original game plan. We are not unloved, just highly manipulated. With a 9% spread it keeps day traders at bay as to make 10% they will need that on top of the spread. With only 3m buys the tactic may be working but the volume shows it's having marginal affect.

Yes technically we have a loan but ut is tied to a State guaranteed rebate. In effect it is a secure bridging loan financed by the State of Alaska. I believe interest has been paid in advance so there is no demand of 88e's coffers.
